  • Wow, Michael Pitt has so much talent. Fantastic actor and an incredible musician!

  • By the way, the official, full version of this song can be found on my profile!

  • This is a powerfull piece of music... I like this version much better than the Single. It came out straight from Michael's heart. Usually, demo and live songs are way better than the ones recorded in studio.

  • fuck the war, fuck the US goverment!!! they still are the imperialism ! >< they sell annd buy death people, they are the most terrorist country. :( sadly :(

  • i dont know what areas Pagoda is played ,i livein san diego, but for everyone saying theyre rich f"s...how often are they on tv? and how mancy cds have they putout?i know they play shows, but the ones ive seen on youtube, dont show more than 30 people...so how can they be so entirely rich?

(not against Pagoda, just asking a q.,so please dont be mean)

  • if michael pitt wanted to be a rich actor,he could be,he has the looks, but from what ive seen,he doesnt choose to be in just any film...and its not as if Pagoda is putting every song to the movies Michael's in...

  • brings me to the self conclusion that the reality of our nation's war is that everyone whose not fighting is just someone stuck in between a stupid argument.

micheal pitt *and also pagoda* - in my thoughts from a music a philosophical standpoint.

  • aanybody have this on mp3 to share please

  • disgracious23, do you take the fucking short bus? pagoda, is like bush? how did you come up with that dumbass conclusion?

just because they play a type of music thought to be dead by retards like you, doesn't mean shit to real music fans who know GOOD MUSIC will never die.

  • Did they break up or something? They don't even have a myspace or pagoda.com anymore

  • By the way willyjoy85 I think it's very close-mined of you to say that only inexperienced musicians play grunge. I think that alot of them are the most creative people out there.

  • What seriously cracks me up is how pathetic it is that people take time to get on YouTube and say bad things about bands they don't like. PEOPLE! Get a LIFE! Read a book, kiss someone, make some FRIENDS! It's sad!

  • Nirvana....the underground movement? and PAGODA is marketing and rich fucks?

.....lets hear pagoda on the radio or on MTV....then compare that to nirvana's popularity.

  • so fucking good.

  • ya se me vino

  • I love this song, but I wish someone would put up the other version they have on their myspace.

  • You suck balls and so does your mom,Don't like it don't watch it

  • lo subieron en un dia de mi cumpleaños :D:D my happy birthday (Y) jajaja 15 de agosto

  • is a great musician :D

  • I adore whatever it is about them

  • great song!

  • Disgracious has posted some months ago, still dont know why youtube has post my answer here as i replied to his post and not in "new comment".

  • i love this song, like to play this stuff on my guitar

  • shut the fuck up, the music dosn't have to be complex or some extravagant bullshit like metal. the simple music is also pretty fun and fuckin good. I personally prefer that kind of music, like beatles and shit like that

  • totally agree, wtf styles have to fuck with that.

willy : youll never like a song only for its simplicity and its feeling. missing punkrock, cold wave, alternative rock, lo fi.. what a shame for you.

btw, nirvana never invented grunge, they're even the less grunge band of the movement, which was a pityful movement of hard rock influenced losers. i like grunge, but dont tell me nirvana made the sound of bands like soundgarden, alice in chains or mudhoney..

  • fucking hater! and what have you done with music in your life? I checked your page and nothing so shut up!

  • That's weird, because according to Rolling Stones magazine, Kurt Cobain was listed as the 12th best guitarist to ever have lived, so he obviously wasn't just a limited musician.

I think the same can be said about anyone. I could play a grunge song, it doesn't mean I suck at playing guitar in general... especially not if I just INVENTED a new type of genre...

  • pagoda not copy nirvana

    there are they influencies..

but they give us again the grunge.. a music that was lost for a long years

    i like it

  • This sux. It is uncomparable to Cobain and or Nirvana it's like a bad bands impression of original music inspired by NIrvana.

  • Nobody..Never Can Be Nirvana and nobody never can be KURT COBAIN Voice and feelings Ceause all want to copy Kurt but he's the legend and One Legend Lives One Legend Dies.

  • go back to sleep you fanboy, come back when you got a brain.

  • lol i thought it was zombie by cranberries at first.

  • Wow.

I've loved Pagoda every since I watched last days. They're so under-rated....

This is what its all about

  • pagoda=new nirvana..but i like it!

  • It have a bit of grunge yes but i think its really original, thats why is my favourtie band! I love them

  • They're not the new Nirvana if you mean they're copying off of them.

But if you mean they're going to be big like Nirvana then maybe.

We'll have to see. As of now Pagoda's still a baby. They haven't reached enough people yet,but once they get enough publicity they're most likely going to be the next big thing.

  • i dont complain them with nirvana its just a good grunge band 4 me

  • sry a mean compare

  • He's never used his acting stardom to really sell his music - It's clearly something he enjoys to do and he seems to be a decent and honest person!

Money and wealth has nothing to do with what he's singing about - or how he produces records. In many ways if they did have rich music producers and executives they'd probably be making albums like Nevermind!

  • That was retarded of you to say, disgracious23.

Dude, Pagoda is a poor indie band from Brooklyn. Don't you think if some rich fuckwads were behind this, that they would be world famous by now?

  • @fetusinutero i hate to say it. but michael pitt sure aint poor. his music isnt "all marketing" but hes deffinately not poor either man.

  • Rich?? Omg you should get more information, maybe if you look for the cds you will have difficulties to find it -.-'

  • disgracious just likes to open his big mouth without knowing. if you want to spite on a famous actor who transforms a good band in a emo-for-girls band, spit on Jared Leto, which has turned the leading of 30STM in a sucking 2nd LP. dont come to argue without reading before you cunt, Pitt is one of the less known actors and his band is on an indie label because they signed with T.Moore, and theyre insifnifiant, to keep their music true. Youre really a bag of scum.

  • Ah ?!

1st - i guess you are talking with the wrong person.

2st - You should not talk like that too anyone, and NOT on youtube, that looks bad!

I dont even remember what did i said about this video or pagoda or Pitt, but i guess i never said he was famous, because if he was pagoda would be biiger much more quickly.

Sorry about my english, i know it sucks, cheers =)

  • i wasnt talk to you, i was talking to "Disgracious".

but for some reason, when i click on reply under a posted message, my answer comes here at the end of the queue, so it doesnt fit with the right quote.

my english is not very well too, i'm french. but i still maintain that Pagoda is a good band, not a copy of Nirvana or a "band of an actor who wants to show himself". And that 30 Seconds to mars was better before too.

    Peace.

  • Thats fine, but you shouldnt be soo agressive xD

Anyway Pagoda is not a copy of nirvana, Pagoda is Pagoda =)

And they are my fav band.

  • You should listen to The Vines and Nine Black Alps, think you can like with your choices. Try it if you find it :)

Nirvana was also the first blast out in my music, i love the 2 bands but in different ways, not exactly the same feeling between Pagoda and them. Both are realy good ambiant musicians and punkrockers. But they have differences of time too. That makes the sound better because of experiencing on it.

  • I already know the Vines :P

Animal machine and 1969 its my fav. songs of them i think :D

I will look for nine black Alps ... thanks =) search for Pandora, its pure grunge ;)

    Cheers

  • To my knowledge, The Vines broke up a really long time ago...

I remember listening to Get Free on repeat as a young teen all the bloody time...

  • they didnt, but even if Craig Nicholls is treated for Asperger and stopped to smoke entire trucks of marijuana, his health is weak and he has to stop frequently the live sets. They released 4 albums : after the 2 first came Vision Valley in 2006 and Melodia in 2009. They're still "vines-istic" and Craig is still a genius of the pop ballad, but they're under the quality of the 2 first. They never reached again the level they got with songs like TV Pro or 1969..

  • I had to have mine imported from the states.. not one bloody music store I went to had it... cost me 20$ instead of 16$! (Because of shipping and handling)

  • temazo impresionante, lo mejor que he oido de michael pitt desde que le dejaron crear e improvisar una jam session en medio del rodaje de last days, obviamente Gus Van Sant integró, integra, la escena en el metraje final. Sin cortes.

  • Can anyone type lyrics of this song please? Thx

  • great great, pitt's voice is so deep n touching, it fits just beautifully for these kind of acoustic songs. Pagoda is one of my fav bands at this century, totally. vid is cool too. you know could i load this song from somewhere? it's kinda hard to get any Pagoda's products here north...

  • I like Pagoda and I NEVER voted for Bush. In fact I think he's the anti-christ. There is nothing wrong with reminiscing either. Only fucking snobs turn their nose up at the past.

  • I think you're confused here. Pagoda is very anti-Bush and anti-war. This video is anti-Bush and anti-war.

  • you are exactly right. im a former marine, and i know now that if we dont stop this shit the world will end before too long. there is one thing though... sex isnt better than war. sounds crazy? it is crazy. an ancient philosopher said once: a man will give up food, drink, and love before he gives up war. its like a drug truely. feels great for a bit. then you realize how stupid all this shit is. combat is the best rush...the best. better than any woman, or drug ive tried, or any fast car i had.

  • right... I don't even know this band very well and I can tell you have it backwards. For instance 1:12 in the video. I mean not unless that is reversed psychology.

  • wow. bunch of narrowminded kids saying that this song sucks. all i can think is WOW cus it's so sad that after watching a slideshow about a war that's going on this very minute, and hearing a song that an artist of today wrote about the war of TODAY, and all you can say is,"wow, that sucks" talk about narrowminded and pathetic. kurt wouldn't have been ashamed of mike, he would've been ashamed of having fans like you.

  • well said!

  • East or West,

    PAGODA IS BEST!

  • la wea mala...mala...mala...si estuviese Kurt le patearia el trasero

  • stupid bush...

  • hay man that was a fucking bad azz slide show you made with mick pitt singing in that back round about the truth of this fucked up world i totally felt this video and fuck these cocksuckers they talk shit but that cuz they dont know shit! keep rockin peace out.

  • .... i dnt feel it man.... weak

  • This is more like Vietnam war?

  • Wow, that sucks.

  • amazing work. best i've seen. thanks.
