Was something wrong with your MS6? It seems like it took forever to get to 40mph. I dynoed my 06 MS6 at 242awhp and 283wtq with just a CP-e intake. Your car should be a lot faster. Maybe it was the shift points?
Something wrong with it? Yeah! Lol it had 583 miles on it and I just rolled into the throttle at first. Plus dog shit slow shifts as I was still breaking it in. And of course shifitng at redline, didn't know about the real shift points until a little later.
With stage 2 AP I average low 5 second runs to 60. I am a bit easy on my launch but sub 5 second runs are doable with bolt ons. I know a guy who has done it in 3.8 seconds with his speed6. Not stock of course : )

nope. a stock mazdaspeed6 cannot do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. maybe if you mod it up it can. but u cant just say "oh with a good launch and shifting it can." that'd mean an evo could get it in like 3.5 seconds, which it cant (stock).

Yes, actually they are full of idiots. Everyone thinks magazine drivers are gods, when in truth, they fucking suck. They are suit and tie guys that sit behind a desk and edit magazines, they aren't drivers. 14.8 @ 88 is a fucking joke in Motor Trend, with barely 1,000 miles on it, bone fucking stock and a decent launch I ran a 13.9 @ 97. Better launch I could've easily done 13.7 @ 98-99.

I know what you maen. All these internet sites and magazines rate my car 0-60 in 7 seconds but I've gotten 5.5 using my stop watch several times. I believe a speed6 stock can do it under 5 seconds with a good launch!

no way because you were shifting at and past redline... power fades hard before 6000, so u had to have a big list of mods... nice vid tho :)

in your videos it's definitely quicker than 6.2 seconds, but i'd say 4.8 is pushing it. Then again i'm not a human stopwatch. Either way, great car.
