@nascarchanger Yeah, that's pretty cool, too. I often play, weddings, church services, and other jobs with two herald trumpets like that. Sometimes, I even play jobs for 4 herald trumpets. I once did a grand opening with 8 herald trumpeters. This Sunday, I'll be playing two Easter services for 2 herald trumpets (+ organ, + choir, etc.)

Wagner was an atheist so they don't play this song at weddings in churches, also Hitler used his music so that doesn't exactly bring up his reputation for churches

Not quite true--you don't have all of the facts straight. Wagner always considered himself a Christian, although there were some "Christian values" that he did not adhere to during much of his life (issues such as marriage fidelity, racism.) Later in his life, he "found Jesus" again and became more pious (which explains his late opera, Parsifal.) Hitler, like many people before and after him, liked Wagner's music and used it for propaganda, but Wagner was dead and didn't know about it.

It is true that many churches still discourage or even prohibit the use of Wagner's music in their services because of Wagner's spotty moral history. However, many church leaders agree that Wagner, like all other humans, was not perfect, but that his music is beautiful and brilliant. In spite of Hitler's propaganda use of Wagner's music during WWII, and in spite of Wagner's antisemitism, Wagner's music is now being performed again in Israel. Hitler liked chocolate--Should we give that up too?

You're welcome! What your music teacher said was partly correct, but not the whole story. If you are interested in learning more about Wagner--his life, his personality, and his music--read the biographical article about him in the latest edition of The New Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians, available at any fine library or online (with subscription). Wikipedia also has a pretty decent shorter article about Wager that is also pretty good and it is available online for free, of course.

I watched your other version with the other musicians showing. I like both versions, but this one seems more majestic, but yet simple, which is great. It is not intimidating for the rest of us who don't play the trumpet. I also liked the theatrical props and other shots.

Several years ago, I had recorded this piece (but with a different fanfare) on a CD, but the CD is now out of print. I am planning on recording a new CD with this piece and other popular traditional wedding music favorites in the (hopefully) very near future. Why isn't the organist playing out

This was really intended to be more of a trumpet demo video, so we recorded it with the trumpet louder (and closer to the mic than the organ was) on purpose. When time finally permits, I hope to record some trumpet and organ pieces in some big church sanctuaries and organ recital halls with more of a concert feel (and mix.)
