u just dont know how to use Emma at all lol....all u have to do with her since her powers suck is make her a true fighter and level up her psionic fury combat powers fully and her diamond form ....which would make her an even bigger force then wolverine :-D

are you serious? Emma is a telepath with a diamond form. If you wanted her to be a close-ranged fighter build up her diamond form. The only psychic one of the xmen that could fight close ranged would be psylocke or jean but preferably psylocke. Emma's attacks are long ranged so fighting up close would be no good especially if she is low leveled.

emma was awesome in this game...you just have to move her more towards a melee build. spikes of penance + hardness + diamond form + psionic combat + gambit or iceman's buffs = she owns

I don't think she was a usless character. Emma's shell form and bonuses to melee damage are key to making her an effective fighter. When you max out her offensive skills and with the proper equipment, she can easily punch and kick for 200+ points of damage per hit. You can use her against many foes (yes, you can beat a sentinel with her diamond form I can do it ^_^)

Emma does not seem to be a useful XMan to have around. But, if you level her properly, she becomes a valuable member of the XMen.
