"The Lakers [are not] among the league [leaders] in [crunch time] offense, instead they're just about [average], scoring 82.35 points per 100 possessions in a league that averages 80.03. When Bryant's [on the floor] in [crunch time], the Lakers are actually [outscored] by their opponents."
-- Henry Abbott: "The truth about Kobe Bryant in crunch time"; ESPN.com Jan 28, 2011
"It's one thing to [hope to be] like him, it's another thing to [be] like him. I'm with ESPN's Bill Simmons on this, we have to [take] Michael out of the equation. [Stop] comparing [anyone] to Michael Jordan. It's just not fair. Kobe [doesn't even shoot] the same [percentage] as Michael. He's not the same player."
-- Phil Jackson: "Kobe Bryant not in Michael Jordan's company"; sportingnews . com, Mar 14, 2011
@blackadam06 "His article is full of FACTS that can be verified, not his opinion." Yea sure. I guess the idiot Henry Abbott (just like Blackadam06) is also crossing out the fact that Lakers being a dominant franchise in the last 10 years. 5 championship won in 10 years. 7 finals appearances. And Kobe being voted as Player of the decade by ESPN its self . Any more stupid useless facts from Henry Abbotts ?
The article ISN'T about how dominant the laker franchise has been. It's about kobe's ineffectiveness in the clutch, and he provides FACTS to prove it.
That's why it said: "ESPN Stats and Information's Alok Pattani dug through [15 years] of NBA data on Bryant's [entire career] (regular season and playoffs)"
Only U childish, idiot kobe homers take issue with the facts, because they don't support your delusions of grandeur about him.
The only reason WHY articles like that are even written is to offset the amount of ignorance by his dumb fans of his like yourself. He has the most idiotic fanbase around because the MAJORITY of U morons are BY FAR the most delusional, ignorant, nazi-like group of fans I've ever seen.
I've never seen a group of so called fans who consistently has such disdain for the facts. It's ridiculous..SMH
When U can't get around 'em, U just go into denial mode or throw a temper tantrum LOL!!
@blackadam06 Kobe ineffectivness in the clutch ? Do you hear yourself ? Do you watch basketball ? Specifically the LAkers ? Almost every NBA coaches would pick Kobe as their go to guy in the clutch. Kobe being mentioned as one of the most clutch players is all over the sport world. Talking about reality. You're the one who need to watch more basketball. Only an idiot like you would say Kobe is not clutch
FACT: he as of this year is officially 36-116 (31%) in situations where the game's on the line, with a chance to tie or win, and is also 6-23 (26%) in the playoffs.
So how's he clutch?
As Barkley says: "that's turrrble" LOL!!
Like all dumb kobe homers U only acknowledge the his "made" shots & think that he consistently does this, but U NEVER look at the missed ones to balance out just how good/bad he truly is at it..
@blackadam06 Why are you only looking at his % for this year ? Obviously Kobe didn't have a good season. You simply ignore all his previous seasons and his previous playoff.
@blackadam06 He attempted more shots than most people. You forgot to mention Jordan missed 26 game winning shots in his career too. Here's a quote directly from the MJ "I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is precisely why I succeed
Kobe is 7-25. So Kobe > MJ in clutch shots . Kobe= clutch
MJ was 33-58 (56%) in "game winners" for his career. That's what U call CLUTCH..
U wanna talk about "missed shots"?
NEWSFLASH DUMB ASS: Kobe's taken WELL OVER 20,000 career shots and has YET to even make 10,000 career shots. He became the All Time leader in missed playoff shots in this year's playoffs, so I'd be quiet when talkin' about this if I were a fan of his LOL!!
It only took MJ 841 games to make 10,000 shots...
Go look at their made/missed differential #s. It categorizes "what kind" of scorer a player is/was. If you're on the All Time Top Scorers list & fall in either category 4 or 5, you're a shot jacker.
@Teeko89 MJ's stats seem a little off. He did a commercial saying he missed 26 game winning shots, and if it was filmed before his final retirement , then he's bound to have more. Not to discredit MJ, he's the GOAT, but 33 for 58 seems ridiculous, even for him.
@Kenny1984 Kobe was real clutch especially against a 38 year Jason Kidd in playoffs where Dirk Punk'd him and swept him. Kobe had a chance to win Game one and he bricked it. What else new right? that's real clutch.
@kanguesso How did Kobe get punked by Dirk when Kobe didn't even guard Dirk ? And Jason Kidd didn't do shit agains't Kobe. The Lakers lost because their point guards sucks at defending JJ barea and Pau Gasol/Bynum wasn't able to guard Dirk. And Lakers also choke in game 1 and game 2 when they had their chance to win. Kobe played with bad ankle , fingers and knee. Everybobdy got swept. It's part of the game. MJ got swept too by many teams
@Kenny1984 Oh here we go with the excuses, excuses. Kobe is such a clutch, he bricked the last shot in game 1 and did not HAVE A LAYUP in the whole series until game 3 or 4. Wanna know why? because he like to look cute by jacking up a bunch of shots. He resorted to fadeaways and pull up 3 pointers because Kidd stuck on him like white on rice. He did not give him any lanes to the basket while Nowitski burned kobe and the Lakers on the offensive end. STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND TAKE IT LIKE A MAN.
@kanguesso It's not excuse. Lakers got beat but for you to say they didn't put up a fight is a bunch of crap. And to say Kobe got punked by Dirk is stupid. Kobe was not even guarding Dirk . How many time Kobe owned Jason Kidd in the past ? That's right A LOT. Kobe just happen to be playing on a bad right knees and a bothered right ankle sprain from the previous series. If he were 100% i doubt Jkidd can contain him
@Kenny1984 Oh yeah you're right, the Lakers did put up a fight, A DIRTY ONE. You do remember the dirty plays at the end of game 4 that Odom and Bynum came up with, right? Just ask Jay Jay Barea. How many times kobe owned Kidd in the past? who cares? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A 38 YEAR OLD JASON KIDD who absolutely made kobe's life Miserable. The Lakers were eliminated by something crazy like 36 or 38 point difference. You call that putting up a fight? in what world? Again, SAVE THE EXCUSES.
@kanguesso Don't let a bad play by a player define the whole team. Kobe has nothing to do with Bynum dirty elbow on Barea. Game 4 was a blow out but game 1 and 3 was a dog fight til the end. And JKidd made Kobe life misarable ? Lol how ? Kobe still put up more than 20 points a game. Kobe sitting on 5 championships. JKidd barely got 1 at age 38.
@Kenny1984 Jayson Kidd Barely got a championship at 38? The Mavs had an incredible playoff run, they were pretty dominant and convincing in their wins and including the fact that THEY SWEAPT THE DEFENDING CHAMPS. Please tell me what exactly constitutes that as BARELY WINNING? Kidd made Kobe a strictly JUMP SHOOTER. You don't beat a team with a big front line like the Mavs by taking JUMP SHOTS. And i never said what Bynum did had anything to do with Kobe specifically. It reflected on the TEAM.
@kanguesso Yes Jason Kidd was on the right team at the right time. This is dude first ring since 1994 and at age 38. The Mavs peak at the right time. Before the playoff nobody expect the Mavs to even pass the first round. I give respect to Dirk but the Mavs got lucky this year. I would like to see them win back to back. Until then they're a one hit wonder. And like i said in previous reply. Kobe were force to shoot jumper because he had bad ankle and right knee
@kanguesso And don't forget Kobe had a bad finger so bad that it has arthritis . And Bynum dirty play does not reflect on the Team. The Lakers is not a dirty team
@kanguesso The Mav peaked at the right time. Before that they were mediorcre and no one expect them to go far in playoff. Stop pretending like you knew Mavs would win championship before the playoff start.
@Kenny1984 How am i pretending like i knew the Mavs would win the championship before the playoff started? All i ever did was ask you not to make excuses. You're the one talking about broken fingers, sore knees, knee surgeries and what not when all you had say was, " yes they Beat up because they were the better team" Period.
@kanguesso The Lakers beat the Mavs 3 times in the regular seasons and been owning the Mavs prior to that. You saying the Mavs is a better team before they beat the Lakers ? Lakers star player got hurt and some of their players didn't show up to play ball. There's no way that Mavs team can beat the Lakers with a healthy Kobe and a focus Lakers team
@kanguesso It's not excuses. It's facts . Do you know how hard it is to make 3 Finals in a row ? and do you know how tire it would be after the 3rd try ? That's why only 1 team in history of NBA to ever make 4 Finals appearance in a row. The Lakers were pretty much depleted in energy. They might even got bored this time around. It's okay though. Dirk Novitsky deserve a ring so does Jason Kidd. They earned it
@Kenny1984 You're unbelievable dude. You're still making excuses? Do i know how hard it is to make 3 finals in a row? Ahh No, DO YOU? show me your video highlight of YOU MAKING 3 FINALS APPEARANCES IN A ROW and then ask me if i know how hard it is.
@kanguesso See ,so you don't know then don't say that Mavs swept Lakers straight up out of the blue. There is other contributing factors to why the Lakers got swept . 3 finals appearances in a row. Injuries, fatigue, team chemistry, etc. That's my point.
@Kenny1984 Duh, of course i know that anytime you play basketball for any prolonged period of time, you'd have to deal with injuries, fatigue, etc. But every single team deals with injuries. Using that as a reason why the Lakers got swept makes you a pussy. IS IT THAT HARD FOR YOU TO ADMIT THAT THE MAVS WERE JUST THE BETTER TEAM THIS SEASON? Forget the injuries, forget the excuses, talk about how they played in the playoffs. JESUS.
@Kenny1984 U do realize Jordan had knee surgey then won 2 more titles & 2 more finals mvps & lead all players in scoring. I watched a 25yr old Kobe get completely shut down by Rip Hamilton as Detroit destroyed the Lakers, then I watched Ray Allen & Paul Pierce hold him to under 40% shooting in both series they played against him. Kobe is 0 for 3 on game winners in the playoffs & not very clutch at all even when healthy.
@kanguesso Kobe shoot jumpshot because his ankle was sore. Have you every try playing on a bad ankle ? Let see you try to drive in on a sprain ankle .. Idiot Mav fans
@Kenny1984 Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. I am not and will not ever be a Mavs fan. I am A BASKETBALL FAN. Kobe can be as healthy as a Bull, he does not like to drive to the basket. That's the way he plays. He loves Jumpshots. And yes, i have played on sprained ankles before.
@kanguesso Did you just watch basketball starting in 2010 or something ? Did you ever watch Kobe prior to 2010? Kobe game from 1996-2006 was purely attacking the basket. Ever since after 2006-2010 he changed his game after doctor told him to play with more precaution on his knee because he had 3 knees surgeries . Kobe would be attacking the basket if he doesnt have a bad ankle and a bad right knee.
@Kenny1984 Dude stop making excuses, JESUS. This is why people hate Laker fans. Just accept the fact that the Mavs were better this year than everybody else and move on. Talking about what doctors told kobe just makes you sound like a fucking pussy.
That's like saying that Jow Shmoe is a "clutch shooter" because he's made 12 career buzzer beaters, but leave out the fact that he's missed 44 of 'em!
You're GROSSLY misrepresenting his ability when doing that!
Imagine if I said Shaq's a clutch FT shooter by only highlighting his career MADE free throws, but leave out the fact that he's MISSED almost 3x as many as he's made LOL!!
This is what U idiots do with kobe regarding clutch shots!
@blackadam06 Where i said he play 1 game ? You put word in my mouth now ? And my point is still true. Jordan did not play that many games because if you count years he retires and games that he miss. You're really dumb and can't calculate
@blackadam06 This is what you wrote : "MJ didn't play 1 game in '94 dumb ass..he was retired. He didn't come back until the '95 season moron" scroll down and read your post.
@blackadam06 LMAO you're mad. Obviously you typed 1 game instead of 17 games. Which is why i quote that. LOL you're mad. Give it up kid. You can't argue with me. I'm too good for you. Any more hate you got ? Bring it
He came back in time to help them win enough games to get into the '86 & '95 playoffs when they were in danger of missing the playoffs BOTH seasons, and he PLAYED in those playoffs.
"Look at the numbers of games he play"
41 games is half a season..he played 60 games in '02 B4 being injured and played ALL 82 games in '03, so what are U talkin' about?
Blackadam06. Once again if you're going to hate on Kobe at least bring some real stat not something out of your ass. And please bring some real argument not something unrelated to how good a player is. You're a dumb ass
@blackadam06 I can call you whatever the hell i want after i found out your stat were made up. Your stats were false and was made out of your ass. I've already proved you wrong about that. You made up some fake stats to discredit Kobe . I told you to go to NBA and check for the real stat . You were wrong and got exposed. Nothing left to say here dude.
@blackadam06 That's after i told you to go to NBA.com kid. Before that your stats were pulled from your ass. And also you failed to mention Kobe nearly lead the Lakers in every offensive categories. Just accept the fact you're a hater. It's ok
@blackadam06 This dude pull out +/- to criticize Kobe because that's the only thing he got. He completely ignore Kobe other stats. And +/- lol. Terrible
@blackadam06 No you're the retard. It was actually Fisher who led the team because he score like 4 points . It's said in the +/- stat. Yea you got burned
@blackadam06 No using +/- is stupid . +/- cannot be apply to how good a player is in the playoff. And your stat once again is out of your ass. If you check the +/- stat on NBA.com. Fisher is the leader in that category but does that mean he's the best player on the floor for LA? No. Kobe is . Go to NBA.com then slash statistics then slash plusminus and see for yourself who's the leader in +/- for the Lakers. It rank Fisher first. LOl this dude bring plus and minus to argument. Useless idiot
You're looking at the +/- "player combination" results dumb fuck
Go back & click on Lakers for the "team", and then click on the drop down option that allows U to select the "player combination" option, and click "1 player".
That allows U to look at them "individually", then you'll see who's #1 LOL!!
It sad..people how to break down sh*t to U like a kid, which is what I suspect U are..SMH
@blackadam06 SMH You're really in denial aren't you ? LMFAO like i said. Once again +/- has nothing to do with the argument of who's a better Lakers. Once again don't bring weak argument kid
Blackadam06 said Gasol lead Lakers in points for 2011 season .HAHAHAh he didn't check for some real stat. Kobe average 26 points in 2011 season while Gasol only 18. Kobe total points for 2010-2011 season is 2078 points while Gasol only have 1541. Once AGAIN. this blackadam06 kid need to learn his stat before he talk out of his ass. HAHAHA
@blackadam06 Are you dumb ? You expect a team of Kobe, Smush Parker as the starting pg, Kwame Brown and Turiaf to beat the Suns ? And by the way in 06 Lakers choked when they were up 3-1 . Suns were the best offensive team that year. Average 112 points per game. At least watch the Lakers before you speak dumb ass negro
"You expect a team of Kobe, Smush Parker as the starting pg, Kwame Brown and Turiaf to beat the Suns?"
MJ led Chicago to a win over the Cavs with Dave Corzine as his center, Mike Brown as his PF, Brad Sellers as his SF & Sam Vincent as his PG, so yes. I do..
"Suns were the best offensive team that year"
And 1 of the WORST defensive teams too, so no excuses..
@blackadam06 The CAVS ? are you fucking serious ? LOL the SUNS of 06 and 07 would have smoked that MJ team. Again your argument is something else. Please learn to be competent before you speak dumbass
@blackadam06 Lakers squad of 06: Smush Parker, Kobe, Luke Walton, Lamar Odom,Turiaf, Kwame Brown
Lakers squad of 07: Smush Parker, Kobe, Lamar Odom, Turiaf, Kwame Brown. Do you realize how shitty that team was in those years ? Kobe average 35 points per game for 2 seasons. Once again. Learn your stats dumb ass. Blackadam06= Typical dumb, self hating negro jealous of Kobe hater
@blackadam06 Kobe 2005-2006 34 ppg. Kobe 2006-2007 32ppg. Once again go to NBA.com and check the REAL stat before you talk. I get stats from NBA.com while you pull stats out from your ass. Fake
gasol was the reason why Kobe got his 2 titles...Not showing up???what abot ODOM BYNUM AND KOBE....SO THE star isnt kobe but GASOL if gasol isnt playing at his best they loose...
@lagosdre Gasol is not the reason they won 2 titles. It was defense that won Lakers two championships. He helped them won but it still Kobe show. Because the Lakers triangle offense run through the big men first. So if Gasol is struggle it will mess up the offense. And Gasol fail to play and real defense. Lakers defend also was bad this year. That's the reason they fail.
In case U haven't figured it out, Kenny1984 is a moron..
He's a typical dumb ass kobe homer.
Whenever LA loses, he throws the blame at Gasol's feet & REFUSES to acknowledge kobe's piss poor play in the loss. He'll just make an excuse & claim kobe was injured.
to kenny: bro what are you smoking when jordan came at age like 38 to 40 he played ron artest and he smoked him and he scored 51 points at that age so he can keep up with the young and athletic he proved when he was 40 so imagine him at his prime so what do you have to say now just face it the 90s era was tougher now and days its more offense
I remember watching this game on TV with my younger brother ( a Lakers fan) back in 91... MJ's move was so sick that it made my lil bro cry tears of anger and despair... It was at that moment that I knew MJ could never be equaled...
One final thing. Those "fouls" that odom and bynum gave ...... WERE STANDARD PROCEDURE for the Pistons back in the day. They did this to Jordan ALL THE TIME and to Pippen too when he finally became good. They didn't have to be so athletic back then --they just beat the crap out of you. The Knicks copied that same style. THEY DON"T PLAY THAT WAY ANYMORE .... which is why you see guards running all over the place now.
To be the greatest ..... you have to be the greatest over your ENTIRE career --- not one game or one season. ALL THE TIME. His bad years were as a 39-40 year old man and he was still a 20+ppg guy. Kobe is almost only a 20+ppg guy now at 32.
Jordan reg season ppg 30.1 (highest ever) post season ppg 33.5 (highest ever) finals ppg 33.6 (highest ever). Kobe reg season ppg 25.3 post season ppg 25.4 finals ppg 23. Nuff said. One more thing for Kobe and Wilt lovers. Wilt 13 post seasons only 4 seasons avg above 30+ppg; Kobe 14 post seasons only 4 seasons avg above 30+ ppg; Jordan 13 post seasons -- 12 seasons avg above 30+ ppg. The only post season Jordan did not avg at least 30+ points per game -- his ROOKIE season he only avg 29.3.
Where are the Kobe fans at, I dont hear none of you motherfuckers talking shit now that Kobe and his precious little Lakers are about to get swept by the Mavericks, lol.
I think that he kept his mouth shut as a player, and then when he got in the hall of fame, he let it be known. I would have done the same. That is something that you wet behind the ear youngsters need to learn is when to shut up, you guys think you know everything. Your generation is the most obese, the worst educated, reality show watching generation ever.
I don't know why they played zone defense against Jordan. A terrible mistake by the Lakers. Oh well Kobe is better player in my opinion and he's going to get number 6 rings to tie with Jordan hahah. Go Kobe
@Kenny1984 was that ur comment?? what a disappointment.. tot u will say u confident in him.. even though lakers was down 3-0... im not lakers fan,, neither is kobe fan... but i believe that they still able to fight back... instead u just blame on pau gasol....
@orditnary dissapointment it is but Lakers already accomplished their mission. They have over achieved in the past few years. 2 nba rings in 3 years is enough success. Next year we will be back. I still blame Pau Gasol for not showing up and Lakers bench didn't show up as well
Kobe shot a combined 14-44 (31%) in all the 4th qtrs in the Mavs series and only scored 2 pts the ENTIRE 2nd half of an elimination game, while being guarded by a 38 yr old Jason Kidd.
He only avg'd 22ppg on 43% shooting for the ENTIRE playoffs, but U got the nerve to blame Gasol for "not showing up"?
21ppg 1apg 36% shooting <--- kobe's career avg in elimination games
@blackadam06 Oh please. You're still following me huh Blackadam boy ? Gasol fail to defend other bigs and fail to score on offensive end. Kobe was playing with a broke ankle, bad knees and jacked up fingers on shooting hands. If he was healthy the Mavs would be at his mercy
Excuses are the tools of the incompetent that builds monuments of nothingness, and mountains to nowhere, and those who specialize in them will NEVER amount to anything...not now...not ever.
I had to learn that while pledging back in my undergrad days.
Everytime I hear these lame ass excuses from 1 of U dumb ass kobe homers, I think of that.
The fact that U have to keep making excuses for kobe, just shows how pathetic your argument is..
MJ in '98 was 35 yrs old, and REALLY DID play that seasons with a bad back, tendonitis in BOTH knees, and a cracked knuckle & torn ligaments on the index finger of his shooting hand, and STILL shot 47%..better than ANY season from kobe LOL!!
All while LEADING Chicago to 62 wins with Pippen missing almost HALF the season, and managed to win:
* the scoring title
* reg season, all star & finals MVP(s)
* led chicago to title
So U can miss me with those bullsh*t excuses kid..
But considering he missed 64 games in '86 and didn't play all of '95, give or take the # of games missed from those 2 seasons, he played about 15 seasons.
So no dumb ass, your claims (like always) are invalid.
@blackadam06 NBA season is not count 1 year after 1 year idiot. It's between the years. So your math is way off. Nice calculation . You failed again hahaha
@blackadam06 SMH is right. You shake your head after you realize you were wrong. For example 1884-1885= 1 season and 1985-1986= 2nd season. It take almost 4 years to play 2 seasons. Come on dude . You can't be that slow
@blackadam06 Jordan play 1 and a half season with limited minutes. Wiz didn't even make playoff . Come on kid you didn't even watch basketball . shut up now
@blackadam06 The point is you gave Jordan a couple extra seasons when you calculate his total career seasons. I proved you wrong already. Let it go kid. You still salty i got you mad lol
@blackadam06 Not excuses. Everyone who follow NBA know Kobe was not 100% percent and Gasol was a fluke in the playoff . You're just a person full of hate. Time to let it go hater
Flukes don't lead the team in Total Playoff Win Shares EVERY SEASON he's been there.
In case U don't know what Win Shares are (which I know U don't), that means that from a production stand point, Gasol contributed to more WINS LA than anybody else.
Gasol's also led LA in +/- (positive/negative production) the last 2 seasons, which means he contributed MORE POSITIVE production to the teams output than kobe. In fact kobe ranked 5th on his own team, and he's the leader?
@blackadam06 I said Gasol didn't do shit this season. You probably don't even watch the Lakers because you hate Kobe so much. Fucking idiot. If you watch the playoff Gasol sucked in both round and he play like shit during the regular season. Once again typical dumbass ignorant Kobe hater blackadam06
So is that why he led 'em in reg season & playoff +/- production, as well as PER & Win Shares again, while kobe ranked 5th on his own damn team?
"And the [pattern] we saw from Bryant against [above-average] defenses [continues this year]. His [offensive] performances totally [hit a wall] against [good] defensive teams."
-- Neil Paine: "Who Ruled The Top Defenses in 2010 PT II."; basketball-reference . com
@blackadam06 Where you get all these fake stats from ? First you're a hater now you pulling false stats to discredit Kobe. Here you go. A real stat from NBA.com Go here and read nba post season stats Kobe average 22 pps while Gasol average only 13. Once again. You're nothing but a lying dumb haters.
Blackadam06= a fraud . Don't take this idiot serious
@russelkeith02161990 Hmm they weren't soft dude. They were 3rd best in win this season and Nowitki is playing like a superstar right now. Their bench is the best in NBA right now. Mavs was better than the Lakers. The Lakers got their butt kicked. Simple as that. As matter of fact Mavs might even win the Finals this year.
After all the years that I have listened to Marv Albert announce a variety of different sports, that moment is still the most astonished I have ever heard him.
Jordan dominated in evey aspect of the game day in and day out. Kobe is great player and a leader on his team, but he has never been tested by another dominant team. The NBA he plays in just sucks. Deal with it Kobe fans, he is playing in a washed up era. LOL
@KQH8 Jordan played in an era where the game is revolve around centers and slow power fowards so he can maneuver around easier. Today games are more guard oriented and faster pace. I don't think Jordan can roam around in today game because you get more athletic defender in today game. If Ron Artest decide to guard Jordan i think Jordan will be very frustrated or if Lebron guard Jordan i think he'll get like 7 , 8 blocks on Jordan lol . Oh and Kobe is going to be bettter than Jordan
@Kenny1984 Kenny, I 100% disagree with you and your thinking. However I do agree that today's game is more guard oriented, but guards in today's league lack the fundamentals of the game, because its all about flash. In Jordan's era, centers mostly dominated, but it was his fundamental approach to the game that elevated him beyond. Kobe is a great player, and number 1 in the league TODAY, but he has never been tested as Jordan has. He will never command the respect as Jordan did.
@KQH8 Kobe had as much struggle as Jordan did. Jordan actually have lesser competition because he was like the only dominant guard back then. Today Kobe have to compete against Lebron, Wade, Melo, T mac, Brandon Roy, etc. And today players is far more talented and athletic than past players. Jordan had it easier at his position you can't deny that. People are quick to disrepsect Kobe because he's good and in my opinion possess more skills than Jordan
@Kenny1984 Kobe absolutely did not have any struggles what so ever. Jordan actually had books written and published about how to stop him (The Jordan Rules) in addition, he had some of the best coaches just frustrated. There is no doubt that he was the best guard, in addition he is the template that all guards are measured up to, totally revamped sports, shoes. Kobe has done none of this. How come they put Jordan on the cover of the 2K11 then? They want it to sell, Kobe produces nothing homey.
@KQH8 Kobe did not have any struggle ? Comedy. I guess you don't watch basketball. Kobe put in work twice as hard as any superstars out there. He is well known for his work ethic and determination. I agree Jordan set the example for today generation of guards but to say Kobe does nothing and have no struggle is basura. And btw Kobe was on the cover of NBA 2k10 and currently has the best selling signature shoes. I bet you didnt know that
@Kenny1984 First of all, no team has ever tested Kobe, like the Bad Boy Pistons tested Jordan, The Larry Bird Celtics etc. Kobe is playing in a washed up era my friend. You are right about one thing, I dont watch basketball anymore, the greatest player has retired, no need to watch a watered down league, I have better things to do. A league that allows a guard to score 81 points is a defensively watered down league, even you Kobe flag waving lobbyist can understand that, cant you?
@KQH8 You're partially right but guess what ? Jordan had it easy too. Who can guard Jordan on the Piston squad ? lol Isah Thomas ? No body. The 80s and 90s is full of centers . There was really no competition for Jordan at his position especially on the East. Jordan basically roam around at his will because there was no one can guard him or put him to play defense at the other end. And FYI the Celtic tested Kobe in 08 , Phoenix Sun tested Kobe in 06 and the Piston Detroit play Kobe well in 04
@Kenny1984 You are probably one of the more intellegent people I have encountered in blogs such as this, but even you have to admit to Jordan's dominance throughout his career. No one fears Kobe Bryant in the league, and today's athlete is taller, stronger and faster, each genereation should be, so by "theory" Kobe is supposed to be better, but he is not all he has done is imitate the big homey, even sticking his tongue out when driving to the basket.
@KQH8 No one fear Kobe ? LOL i guess you stop watch basketball after 1998 or something ? Kobe to me is still a better offensive player. Jordan is bigger and more athletic but offensive skills wise. Kobe is a class ahead of Jordan . I wonder how many rings Kobe would have had if he play in the East conference
@Kenny1984 I will however give him his due credit and say that he is Jordan reincarnated, but that is as far as it goes. When coaches write books about how to stop you, when teams double and triple team you everytime you touch the ball, when teams force you to your left hand and take away the lane all together, and you have to develop a consistent jump shot, talk to me then. Jordan never had it easy, he was a marked man since 84.
@KQH8 I wonder if you know Jordan personally ? or you're just a homer because you seem to defense Jordan in every sense of word like he's your dad or close friend. LOL i bet if Jordan see you in public he won't even give you look because he is a douche
@Kenny1984 Its not something that I brag about, but I have met Jordan twice, my company sponsored a fund raiser in Great Lakes, Illinois in 2005, and he came out, very nice, very respectfult, something you young people dont have today. Kobe with his offensive language on live TV at the refs, not the public image he should be projecting.
@KQH8 lol if you really Kobe meant what he said on TV. That was in heated of moment and he was frustrated at the ref. He did apologize to the media after that. Unlike Kobe, Jordan once punched his teammate in practice call Kwame Brown the N word .
talk about the fuckin goat

@blackadam06 "His article is full of FACTS that can be verified, not his opinion." Yea sure. And Kobe being voted as Player of the decade by ESPN its self . Any more stupid useless facts from Henry Abbotts ?
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984

I've never seen a group of so called fans who consistently has such disdain for the facts. It's ridiculous..SMH

Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
This is EXACTLY why he wrote that article..SMH
FACT: he as of this year is officially 36-116 (31%) in situations where the game's on the line, with a chance to tie or win, and is also 6-23 (26%) in the playoffs.
So how's he clutch?
As Barkley says: "that's turrrble" LOL!!
Like all dumb kobe homers U only acknowledge the his "made" shots & think that he consistently does this, but U NEVER look at the missed ones to balance out just how good/bad he truly is at it..
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 Why are you only looking at his % for this year ? Obviously Kobe didn't have a good season. You simply ignore all his previous seasons and his previous playoff.
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
That's NOT for this year..that's for his CAREER!
Do U not understand the concept of what CAREER is?
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 He attempted more shots than most people. You forgot to mention Jordan missed 26 game winning shots in his career too. Here's a quote directly from the MJ "I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is precisely why I succeed
Kobe is 7-25. So Kobe > MJ in clutch shots . Kobe= clutch

Your ignorance knows no bounds I see...SMH
MJ was 33-58 (56%) in "game winners" for his career. That's what U call CLUTCH..
U wanna talk about "missed shots"?
NEWSFLASH DUMB ASS: Kobe's taken WELL OVER 20,000 career shots and has YET to even make 10,000 career shots. He became the All Time leader in missed playoff shots in this year's playoffs, so I'd be quiet when talkin' about this if I were a fan of his LOL!!
It only took MJ 841 games to make 10,000 shots...
blackadam06 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
Go look at their made/missed differential #s. It categorizes "what kind" of scorer a player is/was. If you're on the All Time Top Scorers list & fall in either category 4 or 5, you're a shot jacker.
1) 1 - infinity = unstoppable shot maker
2) 0 - 500 = elite shot maker
3) -501 to -1000 = good shot maker
4) -1001 to -2000 = shot jacker
5) -2001 - negative infinity = volume shooter

con't.
The key is to be in the positive side of this ratio..
MJ's ranking is +137.5....he falls in category #1
Kobe's ranking is -1207...he falls in category #4
LOL!!
At kobe's present rate, he'll be the NBA's All Time leader in missed shots by the time he hangs it up, and that's a fact LOL!!
blackadam06 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
Mj's game winning shot attempts was 33 out of 58, which is a 56.9%
Kobe has attempted more game winners, according to the facts, Kobe is a 27% career shooter in game winning situations.
Teeko89 7 months ago 14
@Teeko89 MJ's stats seem a little off. He did a commercial saying he missed 26 game winning shots, and if it was filmed before his final retirement , then he's bound to have more. Not to discredit MJ, he's the GOAT, but 33 for 58 seems ridiculous, even for him.

@Kenny1984 Kobe was real clutch especially against a 38 year Jason Kidd in playoffs where Dirk Punk'd him and swept him. Kobe had a chance to win Game one and he bricked it. What else new right? that's real clutch.
kanguesso 7 months ago
@kanguesso How did Kobe get punked by Dirk when Kobe didn't even guard Dirk ? And Jason Kidd didn't do shit agains't Kobe. The Lakers lost because their point guards sucks at defending JJ barea and Pau Gasol/Bynum wasn't able to guard Dirk. And Lakers also choke in game 1 and game 2 when they had their chance to win. Kobe played with bad ankle , fingers and knee. Everybobdy got swept. It's part of the game. MJ got swept too by many teams
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984 Oh here we go with the excuses, excuses. Kobe is such a clutch, he bricked the last shot in game 1 and did not HAVE A LAYUP in the whole series until game 3 or 4. Wanna know why? because he like to look cute by jacking up a bunch of shots. He resorted to fadeaways and pull up 3 pointers because Kidd stuck on him like white on rice. He did not give him any lanes to the basket while Nowitski burned kobe and the Lakers on the offensive end. STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND TAKE IT LIKE A MAN.
kanguesso 7 months ago
@kanguesso It's not excuse. Lakers got beat but for you to say they didn't put up a fight is a bunch of crap. And to say Kobe got punked by Dirk is stupid. Kobe was not even guarding Dirk . How many time Kobe owned Jason Kidd in the past ? That's right A LOT. Kobe just happen to be playing on a bad right knees and a bothered right ankle sprain from the previous series. If he were 100% i doubt Jkidd can contain him
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984 Oh yeah you're right, the Lakers did put up a fight, A DIRTY ONE. You do remember the dirty plays at the end of game 4 that Odom and Bynum came up with, right? Just ask Jay Jay Barea. How many times kobe owned Kidd in the past? who cares? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A 38 YEAR OLD JASON KIDD who absolutely made kobe's life Miserable. The Lakers were eliminated by something crazy like 36 or 38 point difference. You call that putting up a fight? in what world? Again, SAVE THE EXCUSES.
kanguesso 7 months ago
@kanguesso Don't let a bad play by a player define the whole team. Kobe has nothing to do with Bynum dirty elbow on Barea. Game 4 was a blow out but game 1 and 3 was a dog fight til the end. And JKidd made Kobe life misarable ? Lol how ? Kobe still put up more than 20 points a game. Kobe sitting on 5 championships. JKidd barely got 1 at age 38.
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984 Jayson Kidd Barely got a championship at 38? The Mavs had an incredible playoff run, they were pretty dominant and convincing in their wins and including the fact that THEY SWEAPT THE DEFENDING CHAMPS. Please tell me what exactly constitutes that as BARELY WINNING? Kidd made Kobe a strictly JUMP SHOOTER. You don't beat a team with a big front line like the Mavs by taking JUMP SHOTS. And i never said what Bynum did had anything to do with Kobe specifically. It reflected on the TEAM.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso Yes Jason Kidd was on the right team at the right time. This is dude first ring since 1994 and at age 38. The Mavs peak at the right time. Before the playoff nobody expect the Mavs to even pass the first round. I give respect to Dirk but the Mavs got lucky this year. I would like to see them win back to back. Until then they're a one hit wonder. And like i said in previous reply. Kobe were force to shoot jumper because he had bad ankle and right knee
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@kanguesso And don't forget Kobe had a bad finger so bad that it has arthritis . And Bynum dirty play does not reflect on the Team. The Lakers is not a dirty team
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 Stop making excuses.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso The Mav peaked at the right time. Before that they were mediorcre and no one expect them to go far in playoff. Stop pretending like you knew Mavs would win championship before the playoff start.
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 How am i pretending like i knew the Mavs would win the championship before the playoff started? All i ever did was ask you not to make excuses. You're the one talking about broken fingers, sore knees, knee surgeries and what not when all you had say was, " yes they Beat up because they were the better team" Period.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso The Lakers beat the Mavs 3 times in the regular seasons and been owning the Mavs prior to that. You saying the Mavs is a better team before they beat the Lakers ? Lakers star player got hurt and some of their players didn't show up to play ball. There's no way that Mavs team can beat the Lakers with a healthy Kobe and a focus Lakers team
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 This type of reasoning is precisely why people hate Laker fans, WAY TOO MANY EXCUSES.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso It's not excuses. It's facts . Do you know how hard it is to make 3 Finals in a row ? and do you know how tire it would be after the 3rd try ? That's why only 1 team in history of NBA to ever make 4 Finals appearance in a row. The Lakers were pretty much depleted in energy. They might even got bored this time around. It's okay though. Dirk Novitsky deserve a ring so does Jason Kidd. They earned it
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 You're unbelievable dude. You're still making excuses? Do i know how hard it is to make 3 finals in a row? Ahh No, DO YOU? show me your video highlight of YOU MAKING 3 FINALS APPEARANCES IN A ROW and then ask me if i know how hard it is.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso See ,so you don't know then don't say that Mavs swept Lakers straight up out of the blue. There is other contributing factors to why the Lakers got swept . 3 finals appearances in a row. Injuries, fatigue, team chemistry, etc. That's my point.
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 Duh, of course i know that anytime you play basketball for any prolonged period of time, you'd have to deal with injuries, fatigue, etc. But every single team deals with injuries. Using that as a reason why the Lakers got swept makes you a pussy. IS IT THAT HARD FOR YOU TO ADMIT THAT THE MAVS WERE JUST THE BETTER TEAM THIS SEASON? Forget the injuries, forget the excuses, talk about how they played in the playoffs. JESUS.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 U do realize Jordan had knee surgey then won 2 more titles & 2 more finals mvps & lead all players in scoring. I watched a 25yr old Kobe get completely shut down by Rip Hamilton as Detroit destroyed the Lakers, then I watched Ray Allen & Paul Pierce hold him to under 40% shooting in both series they played against him. Kobe is 0 for 3 on game winners in the playoffs & not very clutch at all even when healthy.
c2g1980 3 months ago
@Kenny1984 1 correction, Jordan didn't have knee surgery until he was 39 my bad.
c2g1980 3 months ago
@kanguesso Kobe shoot jumpshot because his ankle was sore. Have you every try playing on a bad ankle ? Let see you try to drive in on a sprain ankle .. Idiot Mav fans
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984 Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. I am not and will not ever be a Mavs fan. I am A BASKETBALL FAN. Kobe can be as healthy as a Bull, he does not like to drive to the basket. That's the way he plays. He loves Jumpshots. And yes, i have played on sprained ankles before.
kanguesso 6 months ago
@kanguesso Did you just watch basketball starting in 2010 or something ? Did you ever watch Kobe prior to 2010? Kobe game from 1996-2006 was purely attacking the basket. Ever since after 2006-2010 he changed his game after doctor told him to play with more precaution on his knee because he had 3 knees surgeries . Kobe would be attacking the basket if he doesnt have a bad ankle and a bad right knee.
Kenny1984 6 months ago
@Kenny1984 Dude stop making excuses, JESUS. This is why people hate Laker fans. Just accept the fact that the Mavs were better this year than everybody else and move on. Talking about what doctors told kobe just makes you sound like a fucking pussy.

2006: 1st rd elimination by PHX, and Amare missed the entire series
2007: 1st rd elimination by PHX..again
2008: LA was 29-16 and losers of 4 of their last 6 B4 Gasol arrives. After his arrival, they go 28-9 down the stretch and go to 3 straight finals.
Gasol = difference maker for the last 2 titles
Kenny1984 = typical dumb, excuse makin', uninformed kobe homer

@blackadam06 Are you dumb ? You expect a team of Kobe, Smush Parker as the starting pg, Kwame Brown and Turiaf to beat the Suns ? And by the way in 06 Lakers choked when they were up 3-1 . Suns were the best offensive team that year. Average 112 points per game. At least watch the Lakers before you speak dumb ass negro
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
I do..
"Suns were the best offensive team that year"
And 1 of the WORST defensive teams too, so no excuses..
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 The CAVS ? are you fucking serious ? LOL the SUNS of 06 and 07 would have smoked that MJ team. Again your argument is something else. Please learn to be competent before you speak dumbass

"Learn your stats"
Hahahahahahahaha...that's funny kid, considering U just said and I quote:
"Kobe average 35 points per game for [2 seasons]"
He only did that 1 season U moron, but you're trying to tell someone to "learn their stats" & call somebody dumb?
LOL!!
Like I said....that's funny kid..SMH

@blackadam06 Kobe 2005-2006 34 ppg. Kobe 2006-2007 32ppg. Once again go to NBA.com and check the REAL stat before you talk. I get stats from NBA.com while you pull stats out from your ass. Fake

gasol was the reason why Kobe got his 2 titles...Not showing up???what abot ODOM BYNUM AND KOBE....SO THE star isnt kobe but GASOL if gasol isnt playing at his best they loose...
lagosdre 7 months ago
@lagosdre Gasol is not the reason they won 2 titles. It was defense that won Lakers two championships. He helped them won but it still Kobe show. Because the Lakers triangle offense run through the big men first. So if Gasol is struggle it will mess up the offense. And Gasol fail to play and real defense. Lakers defend also was bad this year. That's the reason they fail.
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@lagosdre
But when they win it's because of kobe.

THEY DON"T PLAY THAT WAY ANYMORE .... which is why you see guards running all over the place now.
cptnsx 8 months ago
To be the greatest ..... you have to be the greatest over your ENTIRE career --- not one game or one season. ALL THE TIME. His bad years were as a 39-40 year old man and he was still a 20+ppg guy. Kobe is almost only a 20+ppg guy now at 32.
cptnsx 8 months ago
Jordan reg season ppg 30.1 (highest ever) post season ppg 33.5 (highest ever) finals ppg 33.6 (highest ever). Kobe reg season ppg 25.3 post season ppg 25.4 finals ppg 23. Nuff said. One more thing for Kobe and Wilt lovers. Wilt 13 post seasons only 4 seasons avg above 30+ppg; Kobe 14 post seasons only 4 seasons avg above 30+ ppg; Jordan 13 post seasons -- 12 seasons avg above 30+ ppg. The only post season Jordan did not avg at least 30+ points per game -- his ROOKIE season he only avg 29.3.

orditnary 8 months ago
@orditnary dissapointment it is but Lakers already accomplished their mission. They have over achieved in the past few years. 2 nba rings in 3 years is enough success. Next year we will be back. I still blame Pau Gasol for not showing up and Lakers bench didn't show up as well
Kenny1984 8 months ago
@Kenny1984
"I still blame Pau Gasol for not showing up"
Kobe shot a combined 14-44 (31%) in all the 4th qtrs in the Mavs series and only scored 2 pts the ENTIRE 2nd half of an elimination game, while being guarded by a 38 yr old Jason Kidd.
He only avg'd 22ppg on 43% shooting for the ENTIRE playoffs, but U got the nerve to blame Gasol for "not showing up"?
21ppg 1apg 36% shooting <--- kobe's career avg in elimination games
God U kobe homers are so ignorant..SMH
blackadam06 7 months ago

The fact that U have to keep making excuses for kobe, just shows how pathetic your argument is..
blackadam06 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
* the scoring title
* reg season, all star & finals MVP(s)
* led chicago to title
So U can miss me with those bullsh*t excuses kid..
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 Mj also didn't play 15 season and didn't come out straight from HS. So your point is invalid. Fail
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
"Mj also didn't play 15 season"
1984-93 = 9 seasons
1996-98 = 3 seasons
2002-03 = 2 seasons
U do the math dumb ass..SMH
But considering he missed 64 games in '86 and didn't play all of '95, give or take the # of games missed from those 2 seasons, he played about 15 seasons.
So no dumb ass, your claims (like always) are invalid.
U FAILED U non-counting idiot..

@blackadam06 Not excuses. Everyone who follow NBA know Kobe was not 100% percent and Gasol was a fluke in the playoff . You're just a person full of hate. Time to let it go hater
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
LOL!!
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 I said Gasol didn't do shit this season. You probably don't even watch the Lakers because you hate Kobe so much. Fucking idiot. If you watch the playoff Gasol sucked in both round and he play like shit during the regular season. Once again typical dumbass ignorant Kobe hater blackadam06
Kenny1984 7 months ago
@Kenny1984
"Gasol didn't do shit this season"
So is that why he led 'em in reg season & playoff +/- production, as well as PER & Win Shares again, while kobe ranked 5th on his own damn team?
"And the [pattern] we saw from Bryant against [above-average] defenses [continues this year]. His [offensive] performances totally [hit a wall] against [good] defensive teams."

Jordan dominated in evey aspect of the game day in and day out. Kobe is great player and a leader on his team, but he has never been tested by another dominant team. The NBA he plays in just sucks. Deal with it Kobe fans, he is playing in a washed up era. LOL
KQH8 10 months ago
@KQH8 Jordan played in an era where the game is revolve around centers and slow power fowards so he can maneuver around easier. Today games are more guard oriented and faster pace. I don't think Jordan can roam around in today game because you get more athletic defender in today game. If Ron Artest decide to guard Jordan i think Jordan will be very frustrated or if Lebron guard Jordan i think he'll get like 7 , 8 blocks on Jordan lol . Oh and Kobe is going to be bettter than Jordan
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 Kenny, I 100% disagree with you and your thinking. However I do agree that today's game is more guard oriented, but guards in today's league lack the fundamentals of the game, because its all about flash. In Jordan's era, centers mostly dominated, but it was his fundamental approach to the game that elevated him beyond. Kobe is a great player, and number 1 in the league TODAY, but he has never been tested as Jordan has. He will never command the respect as Jordan did.
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 Kobe had as much struggle as Jordan did. Jordan actually have lesser competition because he was like the only dominant guard back then. Today Kobe have to compete against Lebron, Wade, Melo, T mac, Brandon Roy, etc. And today players is far more talented and athletic than past players. Jordan had it easier at his position you can't deny that. People are quick to disrepsect Kobe because he's good and in my opinion possess more skills than Jordan
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 Kobe absolutely did not have any struggles what so ever. Jordan actually had books written and published about how to stop him (The Jordan Rules) in addition, he had some of the best coaches just frustrated. There is no doubt that he was the best guard, in addition he is the template that all guards are measured up to, totally revamped sports, shoes. Kobe has done none of this. How come they put Jordan on the cover of the 2K11 then? They want it to sell, Kobe produces nothing homey.
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 Kobe did not have any struggle ? Comedy. I guess you don't watch basketball. Kobe put in work twice as hard as any superstars out there. He is well known for his work ethic and determination. I agree Jordan set the example for today generation of guards but to say Kobe does nothing and have no struggle is basura. And btw Kobe was on the cover of NBA 2k10 and currently has the best selling signature shoes. I bet you didnt know that
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 First of all, no team has ever tested Kobe, like the Bad Boy Pistons tested Jordan, The Larry Bird Celtics etc. Kobe is playing in a washed up era my friend. You are right about one thing, I dont watch basketball anymore, the greatest player has retired, no need to watch a watered down league, I have better things to do. A league that allows a guard to score 81 points is a defensively watered down league, even you Kobe flag waving lobbyist can understand that, cant you?
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 You're partially right but guess what ? Jordan had it easy too. Who can guard Jordan on the Piston squad ? lol Isah Thomas ? No body. The 80s and 90s is full of centers . There was really no competition for Jordan at his position especially on the East. Jordan basically roam around at his will because there was no one can guard him or put him to play defense at the other end. And FYI the Celtic tested Kobe in 08 , Phoenix Sun tested Kobe in 06 and the Piston Detroit play Kobe well in 04
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 You are probably one of the more intellegent people I have encountered in blogs such as this, but even you have to admit to Jordan's dominance throughout his career. No one fears Kobe Bryant in the league, and today's athlete is taller, stronger and faster, each genereation should be, so by "theory" Kobe is supposed to be better, but he is not all he has done is imitate the big homey, even sticking his tongue out when driving to the basket.
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 No one fear Kobe ? LOL i guess you stop watch basketball after 1998 or something ? Kobe to me is still a better offensive player. Jordan is bigger and more athletic but offensive skills wise. Kobe is a class ahead of Jordan . I wonder how many rings Kobe would have had if he play in the East conference
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 I will however give him his due credit and say that he is Jordan reincarnated, but that is as far as it goes. When coaches write books about how to stop you, when teams double and triple team you everytime you touch the ball, when teams force you to your left hand and take away the lane all together, and you have to develop a consistent jump shot, talk to me then. Jordan never had it easy, he was a marked man since 84.
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 I wonder if you know Jordan personally ? or you're just a homer because you seem to defense Jordan in every sense of word like he's your dad or close friend. LOL i bet if Jordan see you in public he won't even give you look because he is a douche
Kenny1984 9 months ago
@Kenny1984 Its not something that I brag about, but I have met Jordan twice, my company sponsored a fund raiser in Great Lakes, Illinois in 2005, and he came out, very nice, very respectfult, something you young people dont have today. Kobe with his offensive language on live TV at the refs, not the public image he should be projecting.
KQH8 9 months ago
@KQH8 lol if you really Kobe meant what he said on TV. That was in heated of moment and he was frustrated at the ref. He did apologize to the media after that. Unlike Kobe, Jordan once punched his teammate in practice call Kwame Brown the N word .
