  • The David Allen Coe song, "Would You Lay With Me In a Field Of Stone" is a good tune to crosspick. I am gonna have to sit down and really put my mind and fingers to Bury Me Beneath The Willow.

  • Very nice job.

  • your video inspired me to learn how to do this.. ithinkthisissobeautiful

  • @fatcat669 Wo thanks -- that's about the best compliment I've ever gotten. Let me know if you need some pointers. Been thinking about putting a tutorial on here for this tune since some folks have asked for it.

  • Fantastick playing

  • Will you tell me what your crosspicking pattern is? Thanks

  • @oboma8 Sure! This is when I was just starting to develop my crosspicking technique, so I believe the whole thing is forward rolls and I use a down down up pattern. To my ear that seems to give the most "authentic" crosspicking sound. Also, it was easier for me to develop since I already had the bad habit of playing double down strokes when transitioning downward across the strings.

  • excellent job!!

  • Really great !!

Do you have the tab ?

  • lol

  • Pat taught me how to crosspick. It took me 2 full years to get the knack. Thanks Pat.

  • Hey Saul!

  • George Shuffler is my uncle, he married my dad's sister. I have listened to him cross pick for ... well as long as I am old, 48 almost 49 years... You did a FANTASTIC job. I am very impressed...
