  • Bruce Spingsteen ripped off this song for his own song City of Ruins. Definitely.

  • he's still a better country singer then whats out there now!

  • He has aged so well---still so strong with unchanged voice...God Bless him

  • This is a good version, but it's Curtis Mayfield's song.

  • wow.

  • listen to the song Birthday Boy, by the band Ween. There's a similarity from this song, to that song (: my friend showed me this song earlier, cause he too, found the same similarity. ♥

  • @lulzyandoli both songs are amazing =)

  • @whitemandrums it's cause we have amazing taste in music. :D

  • How can I become even close to this good on the harmonica? He's so awesome!

  • i can think of fewer song prettier than don't cry blue , or train of glory.

  • I came across a record of his (have yourself a good time for me) at a thrift store 8 or 9 years ago, and couldnt believe that the guy I considered a one-hit-wonder with Sunshine was actually far more talented then the world of Pop music would have you believe. His music (beyond Sunshine should be playing on the radio regularly.

  • Wow great rendition of this song.

  • I love JE.

  • He and Jesse Winchester are undervalued in our culture--not enough media attention, anyway, but maybe that attention would have corrupted their legacies. I have a special place in my heart for both....not to mention Kenny Rankin!! rip.

  • This is wonderful. He maybe the greatest talent not truly appreciated from the 70's. I love his voice. Rich!

  • Oh dont worry he is appreciated
