Think it will be better for Raghu Dixit to sing beautiful kannada songs like 'naku tanti, rathnana padagalu' rather than this type of ordinary lyrics songs

haha this is sooo bad, his voice is quivering, the composition is flat, the lyrics are cringe worthy. this is really bad i hope you people realise so that musicians cant get away with 'gimmicks' it will raise the bar in india.

hahahaha this is sooooo bad. that english lyrics is cringe worthy . reminds me of bad fusion. listen to trilok gurtu you will understand what i am saying hopefully.
hw soulful is this guys voice !!! heard him for the 1st time on this show calls the dewarists he sung MAsti ki basti on the show. this is his second song im hearing !! must say EPIC.
@sparemethecrap How about i tell YOU to shut the fuck up dipshit? Your account name speaks for your very arrogant self. I dont blame senseless guys like you. the other guy is right, go look em up.
@sparemethecrap from whic contry r u from i seeindian music is far maore better than ur rap which is the main use of bad words u shut the fuck up ass hole its nt dipdhit its dixit
@sparemethecrap It's Marketing bhai... can you sell or not is what matters...between a hit movie and aflop one. And for the thousands of artists struggling out there ... picture abhi baaki hai... don't give up.....
Glastonbury brought me here. They were only playing to a small side-audience, but I couldn't believe they only got a short smattering of applause when they finished. They had just produced a *magnificent*, riveting performance. Thanks RaghuDixitFan.
@jonno52 where did you seem them at Glastonbury? I saw them in the Croissant Neuf tent where they were very well received. They had the whole crowd dancing and singing along.
@simondyson Cheers. Sad to say, I wasn't there! though wish I had been - didn't mean to give the idea I'd been in the audience, only saw the performance on TV, which knocked me out. All the best - John
i worked on crew on the leftfield stage this year at glasto and met the band all real nice guys and was so impressed with there music :) albums on the way
I too was duly impressed -- what a nice balance between the lilting Indian feel of the verses and the anthemic, western-style refrain. The use of tabla and Carnatic violin was beautifully tasteful too -- nicer imo than the thicker, louder arrangement of the CD version. Even the subtle contrast between Raghuji's steel-strung American guitar and the sweeter nylon-strung lead guitar was notably gorgeous. Then there's that voice and flawless sense of pitch -- all in all, highly accomplished!
Agreed! His deep souful wails of love, and the joy from feeling like that, completely expressed in this bright burning performance and song! Definetely outshone Robert Plant AND Arcade Fire, both also on form.

@usaxe : d song (roughly) translates to -->
my oblivious heart, since it met you,
it forgot lonliness, made u its own, sweetheart
my heart is that cloud that thunders and pours in love for you, sweetheart
in stars, in moon, in earth, in sky,
echoes my desire, my passion for you, sweetheart,
no man will ever love you, like i do
my heart weeps, my love, without you i won't survive,
in stars, in moon, in earth, in sky,
echoes my desire, my passion for you, sweetheart,

The arrangement feels just perfect. Acousitc Guitar, Violin and a Tabla. Add Raghu's vocals to that. WOW!

Saw them at Summer Sundae 2011. Just in a fairly small marquee, but the performance was exceptional, and the crowd electric!
