On the island of GUAM there is a dish called CHALAKILIS. It is based on the Mexican CHILAQUILES dish that was introduced by Mexican laborers that arrived to the island during the island's Spanish colonial period. Typically it was prepared as a sauce to serve over day old rice(as well as tortillas.) Today the recipe is somewhat standardized and is made primarily with chicken, achiote (for color and flavor), and Cream of Rice. Coconut milk and chiles can be added too. Yet many variations exist.
YaDigg....Ya know, Mexico is a pretty big place and in different parts of Mexico, folks make Chilaquiles in differen ways. So this being said, thank you for the comment and for viewing! Appreciated...ya Digg
Jenacorn, thanks for comments. My sister and I are starting a few more, but the Salsa one is coming very soon. Glad you liked the video and yes it was the first one. Thanks again.
Thank you Skarlosska for you comments, much appreciated! The best part about the video was after...we had to eat them! The dish was great! Hope you have the same success! Thanks again...
Picadillo sauce? You probably mean salsa de pico de gallo. Picadillo es un guiso con carne molida de res, papas y chile verde.
