  • I wanted to get hi and it cost me.... 6 months in a menth ward.... as you get older songs mean more and more to you, i got high n it blow away my soul!! ps. am back on track now!!!

  • I would have put this on SOTSOG instead of Sunday Morning Call

  • @mistermadferit

Feck that! Only had 10 songs, should have shoved both on! Sunday Morning call is a beautiful song in my incredibly unimportant opinion.

  • Listened to this again -forgot how good it is! Thanks

  • Oasis' b-sides are so amazing! best band ever

  • Why oh why was this not on the album!

  • 13??? WHAT THE FUCK?

  • Noel Gallagher for king of England!!!

  • you know when i was younger i used to listen to a lotta random stuff and wonder if one day i could ever find something that would be like.. forever, something that would make me fall in love every time i would hear it.. well some time ago i found it, and i still cant live without it, im a huge oasis fan but its more about noel, its his lyrics and the way his voice sounds, always gettin' better, always making me feel just amazing..

  • @marialuizaa I'm the same.. Noel can do no wrong in my eyes. He's brilliant.

  • @marialuizaa I'm with you on that, I've been a big Oasis fan for about 16 months now- I turned 18 on friday and for the 18 years I've been on the planet this is the stuff I've been missing !! Noel is God !! "Live Forever." x

  • Who has heard of this before Lead Ballon

  • @ROCKSOLID19 what's Lead Ballon? honest, i've never heard of it. but this song is one of the best ever.

  • @theblueflashinglight It is a British comedy starring stand up comedian Jack Dee who plays Rick Spleen, a comedian whose career died on its arse (hence like a Lead Balloon) and it just goes through the pursuits of his life, and an interfering neighbour who complains frequently. Quite dry and whitty comedy and there has been 3 series. The soundtrack is the orignial performed by Paul Wellar.

  • @ROCKSOLID19 so i'm guessing that Paul Weller covered this song for Lead Balloon? that sounds amazing! thanks very much, now i'm off to check this series out!! :)

  • long live Noel G .............and many happy returns with the new tunes.....gonna be epic!

  • What is b-sides?

  • @ysf665 its from when they used vinyls. On a singles often you had two tracks. The single was on the a side of the record and then there was a song wich was not on the album but was recorded during the album and that song usally goes on the b side of the single. Hope you get it

  • Fuck I love how soothing this song is! The kinda tune and lyrics that makes me feel the word "missing". Not missing as in disappearing. Missing as in missing someone but you're not really sure if its a person. WTF d'you call it idk lol

  • @automaticchic Nostalgia.

  • The work of God.

  • sounds like a Pink floyd track

  • Noel lists this as one of his five favourite Oasis songs.

  • @auchan48 "Oasis" - One Way Road (Who Feels Love [Standing on the shoulder of giants], 2000)

  • Comment removed

  • @auchan48 Nope, it says Written By "Noel Gallagher" on the same single. The cd single has the code RKIDSCD003.

Where did you get your info, or are you just making it up?

  • Comment removed

  • fuck this is goood cant believe how many b-sides of oasis are way better than the a-sides!

  • the paul weller version is better

  • un capolavoro

  • blah song from a blah album.

  • Pretty useless demo version.

Pointlessly wistful monotone compared to Weller's soulful climb.

  • @scotchprofessor Foolish comment. I love Weller. Realize how limited Noel is myself. Only a few of his songs ever true mean anything or are tied to real life and emotion. Not since their peak. This, though, is one of them. An honest song about his drug addiction that if you've been should be able to relate to it. Not pointlessly wistful at all (unlike a lot of his later stuff) and more than holds it's own.

  • @Underground906 I'll stand by my original comments.

  • not taking anything away from noel, he is the man, but pauls versions so much better, my opinion

  • THE MODFATHER AND NOEL FOR A DUET ALBUM. GOT TO HAPPEN!

  • @deacmod hell yeah add Johnny Marr for extra Epicness

  • Noel is GOD.

  • @gemarcher83 Love Ur username! :D

  • @SilentAssassin333 TY! :)

  • See, the main difference between this version and the Paul Weller cover is that Paul Weller has actually got some soul in his voice. Noel's voice is too mellow for a lot of the songs he sings on. I think the only one that really works is Half the World Away because that's really melancholic anyway.

    Well, that's my two cents.

  • @MrJonman247 truth be spoken right there, but to be honest there both pritty fuck amazing! :)

  • When I was first getting into Oasis I made a custom 4-cd compilation of every single and b-side they ever made, and I would def. agree that even songs Noel considers a "throwaway" are better than what 90% of what any other musician could write. For example that new Beady Eye album is good but there's not 1 song on there as good as this. And this is a 11-year old b-side!!!! Noel please make a solo album soon!!

  • @rawkus1167

same as bro , i completly agree

  • heres to hoping this is the kind of stuff Noel will put out on his new album. One Man Band!!! :)

  • @intrepidtosser 'sexier' doesn't have nothing to do with music

  • this is just beautiful

  • imagine Noel Gallagher playing all these gems to you in your livingroom

  • この曲大好きだ。何度も歌った。ノエルのソロライブで是非やってほしい極のひとつです。

I love this beautiful song very much, and have sung it many times.

Strongly I hope Noel to play "One Way Road" on his solo gigs someday.

  • @mono558 teach me japanese

  • sounds like roll it over, great

  • Noel = genius

  • Does the guitar intro remind anyone else about twin peaks theme? Great song,Noel, if you ever waste this kind of stuff on b-sides anymore, I'm gonna have to do something about it.

  • Why do they keep holding onto all of these B Sides and acoustical versions of their songs? I want to buy all of them and I don't want the damn download. I want to own it damn it!

  • Is this the theme tune to somethin?

  • @Aripapadopoulos Yeah Lead Balloon, but it uses Paul Wellers cover

  • @Aripapadopoulos I was wondering that. It's from Lead Balloon, but the actual theme is Paul Weller's cover of this song(:

  • i mean, just fantastic

  • The first verse makes the song

  • @intrepidtosser how can you even compare them? ha

  • @intrepidtosser that also makes you a tosser

  • amazing song. why didn't they put it on the album?

  • Paul Weller did a good cover of this fantastic track!

    Noel is GOD

  • Not one of their best.

  • Best cocaine track ever.

  • @jamesyctfc Hell, yeah... "pain", "hurricane", "came"... each word rhymes with "cocaine"

  • @LockeThomasStaley When i plagirise the hell out of this song when i am a big musician with about 5 houses and no more songs. I will ryhme it all with cup of tea. Me, See ect ;) haha

  • I cant stand the Paul Weller cover. This is the original and best.

  • Oasis has the best b sides ever

  • Comment removed

  • @96Dano Actually, Slade have

  • Oh wait, not original, I mean paul weller's cover.

  • Compared to the original? This isn't great.

  • yet another great b-side from oasis

  • Love the phscycadelic sound of the bass in this, but i think Paul Wellers Happier version is Better to be honest

  • producing distorted sensory perceptions or feelings ps u no man for those who dont no the meaning of your word lol

  • finding this song just made my week.

  • Noel sings,..Liam shouts,..and live hes even worse,..depends if you like that sort of thing

  • I agree

  • @lesjodan ...buzzin

  • The cover looks like Eazy E

  • 美しい・・・・

  • what an amazing song

  • thats a single man

  • this cd cover reminds me of the cover of HANCOCK

  • God Noel...he is a genius

  • Comment removed

  • Weller did justice to this track

  • Noel once said "most of the bands could build a career with Oasis B-sides"... and that's so true

  • @AlStAmPlEr Slade also!

  • @AlStAmPlEr :)

  • @AlStAmPlEr True but most of the bands cant make even the C-sides of oasis songs :D

  • @AlStAmPlEr But Oasis built their career on beatles B-sides?

  • @dronzagov

    I smell shite

  • @AlStAmPlEr If only he wasn't such a dick about it :/

  • @AlStAmPlEr it's liam who said thid

  • give me a white line

    genius this man

  • "As soon as they come

    The feelings they go

All alone, on a one way road" Love that bit.

  • I think that a Noel Gallagher solo album will be a bit like a collection of Noel-sung Oasis B-sides.

Which is great for me. Since I love Oasis B-sides...

  • most of their b-sides since 2000 are far better than their a-sided, if they put some of these b-sides on the albums the albums would be more commercially accepted and enjoyed, great tune!

  • WHY do oasis hav such brilliant b sides????? why not include songs like this on albums? there are countless b sides that are better than som album tracks.

  • Perhaps it's because Noel would sing to much on an album :-)

  • wow

  • holy fucking amazingness

  • the b-sides on SOTSOG are fucking awesome

  • they just make you melt dont they!!!!!!!

  • and i concur. the bsides on everything are fucking awesome dude!

  • yet another song i have to discover from them that is fucking awesome!!

  • this is Noel favourite song

  • Comment removed

  • NOENúmero de caracteres restantes:

    L IS GOD.

  • pure brilliance!

  • they need to release another b side album, in fact at least 3, haha,

  • this is why sotsog was one of the greatest albums ever

  • most underrated oasis album, just because it didnt have cheesy pop songs on it

  • I would challenge any other group to even write anything A-side that could even come close to the brilliance of this song! Music now a days is about rubbish BS goofy lyrics and catchy tune. Yes Oasis have some songs like that, but its B-sides like this that show how truly amazing Noel is in terms of song writing and music.

  • Wow! This is awesome, super rare

  • Listening to songs like this remind me of why they brought in Alan White. Nice soft touch on the drums. Tony McCarroll never could have drummed to this...

  • Love the melody, spiritual touch, as always with Noel at it`s best!

  • Yaaaayy....

  • 1st comment, Lyrics are amazing and relates to me right now.

  • Doesnt want to take cocaine anymore, coz as soon as they come the feelings they go.... i relate to that.

  • It's about his panic attacks due to his coke usage. It's basically the same theme as Gas Panic, this one's just a better song :D
