Was this your first time going through these missions? It looks easy when you have good parts, but what about when you don't have the upgrades? Or is it possible to acquire upgrades through other characters?  And how do you keep Psycho from spamming that mega-explosion, as my smash attacks don't seem to work at all?

You can't really trust IGN for Dynasty Warriors reviews. Unless it's DW 4 or 5. And they hate every Gundam game there is. They gave Gundam VS Zeta Gundam a 3.5 or something.

seriously though, why support game developers when they make 2nd rate franchise cash-ins? I think of myself as an gundam otaku and think they need to stop making these shit games that they turn out year after year and create a game preferably based on the one year war or at least anything within the universal century that actually "feels" like you are piloting a MS. These games are dynasty warrior clones that really lack any depth. Did I just beat the game only using the square button? Yep.

This is a good and fun game. I look forward to playing the bigger and better part 3. As a fan of Dynasty Warriors and Gundam it is one of the best things ever. There is so much content that I have played over 100 hours and still have a lot to do.

You aren't even giving the game a chance. You just say the usual things that every Dynasty Warriors hater says. Just like the IGN Review. You don't come into a Dynasty Warriors game expecting a sim. You expect to slaughter grunts and duel generals.

Most of the time the enemies just stand there watching you kill all their buddies, and EVERY mission is the same, just kill, kill, kill to capture control points, it's too redundant. I think a better gameplay style for gundam would like gears of war. I wish there were good gundam games, i wish this game was good, and I hope they do something drastically different for the third one.

I just like the idea of implementing some kind of cover system, with a destructible environment of course, meaning you would have to constantly change you're strategy to stay alive. It would all depend on the mobile suit as they would all play differently, unlike the dw games where every character plays the same and there is no strategy.

You could just play the Gundam VS series if you want that. But anyway I know you probably didn't even play this game. You just watched some videos and read some reviews. It's cool though. You are not the only one to do that. BTW all the mobile suit's don't play the same. Cept for maybe the class 3 ones because they are peons anyway. But even some of those require a different play style.

I've played the first one and played some of this one, the only button you need is square. The play style for all ms is rush in and tap square for about half an hour throwing in some triangles occasionally, then moving to the next red area and do it all again.
