How can I get a clip of Byron Kothe's15 seconds at the 9 minute mark for his memorial next week? Thanks, his sister Kathryn. Can't believe he is gone...
Right on, Travis....we probably skated next to one another in the past. I helped edit the original version of this video. It's cool to see some "old guys" enjoying it's timely fashion.
Born in 73, found skating in the 80's, still have a deck in the car and by the front door. Long live the Indy Skate Scene, Downtown Donnie, the pool at the Motel 6 on Crawfordsville Rd, closed parking garages, and the skate park I built in my parent driveway.
The ramp in Greenwood that had a million miles of flat bottom, hell I live in that neighborhood now! The Brownsburg half pipe, I still look for it every time I'm out there. Old skate shops, Skates N Rags in Broad Ripple, N-Orbit, Maui Surf & Sprot. There used to be one in Greenfield, but I don't remember the name. I just remember skating in a contest up there.
Well, where to begin. . . I spent half of my teenage life skating at N-Orbit. Sketch used to fall asleep in my parents basement once a week, what a bum. Michi was the greatest, pure talent skater around. From the Top Dog hand rail to the Z Banks, Indianapolis had some cool old skate spots. There were hidden stuff around, like the waterbed ramp up north somewhere. The ramp was in the woods and it was so weak it felt like you were skating on a waterbed when you hit the transitions.
Actually.. could you list all the music used..? the music sorta rocks.. i remember the 90s.. and its unfortunate that i have no recordings of my own.. some how VHS makes everything seem nicer than Digital recordings..
im not worryed about getting subscribers man, i dont even post vids. i cant think of the song name coz its its about 15 years old but im sure if you look him up you will find the song in some of his old stuff. hoped i helped. do you like dells stuff? havent you ever heard of him?
dude I got you...that one fucker has no clue what he is talkin about. Song one is a group called people under the stairs(album next step)look up there albums.question in the form of an answer/next step/ step father/ and fun dmc..there is one more drawing a blank. now del (one "l" ) is from a group called the hieroglyphics. and check them out too because they are amazing. sorry that dude was being so rude...peace.
you dont know because the first song is from a group called the people under the stairs(album the next step)....and it is del the funky homosapien and he is from a group called heiroglyphics...not the same group...and you were callin that one dude stupid....huh?
im a huge fan of the heiroglyphics, i know who they are. the guy in the song sounded like dell. they guy kept askn the same damn thing so i called him stupid. i wasnt being rude, you sound like a drama gueen, get over your self
Naw not at all, just trying to help that dude out...however i jumped in on your two's statements and honestly shouldnt have.and honestly stupid and fucker were not the right words to use you could have been alot more rude on your comment to me...I think that shows alot about your character so my bad...for real. take it easy.
I'm riding a Powell Sword & Skull atm, i find it hard to ride the modern Paddlepop sticks. Hadn't skated for quite a while before that. Dunno what i'll do when i destroy this deck, probably have to hit up eBay, can't do that forever though.
I hear ya dude, i know nostalgia is kind of a dirty word in the world of skateboarding, but i misss those days. massive chunky Airwalk basketball style hightops, Santa Cruz & Vision boards, man you don't see any of that stuff in skate shops here in Australia at all even though some of those companies are still making boards & stuff. Most of all though individuality, there was no stupid unspoken rule for lack of a better term, that everyone who skates should listen to skate punk or what ever.
this is deadly i like this what song is this seems like a few bys that loved the old shit no matter how bad people thought on it you haters can lick my asshole
sjokoland7 u suck! if skateboarding sucks, why do u have to talk shit? keep your own thoughts to yourself u cock sucking motherfucker! i bet u suck at skating and can't even stand on a board. the only thing your good at is being gay and a total loser! LONG LIVE SKATEBOARDING!
