Glad you liked it. I had to cheat a little. There is supposed to be a way to export just the object and its shadow. But I didn't know how to do that. So I took a frame of the video and mapped the parking lot onto a trapizoid in Maya. Then it was easy to cast a shadow on it. If you watch carefully, you can see the parking lot fade out and the digitally rendered parking lot fade in. .
