Great video MasterVL. Uma and John did a great job in this movie, But Chuck Berry is one of the early pioneers of Rock and Roll. Long live Chuck Berry and Rock and Roll.
God bless Chuck, God bless Travolta, he's a natural and as for Uma cutting a rug, she's hotter than Hades. JESUS that girl can dance! What a beautiful clip.
One day i will kidnap the world's best scientists and force them bring Mr Chuck Berry back to his youth! And then 40 years later i will do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exceptional movie with an exceptional soundtrack. Tarantino has an uncanny talent for picking the absolute right people for the parts in his movies. These 2 were spot on and they look just great dancing together and the song choice could not have been any better. This movie oozed talent from any way you looked at it. This movie will be a timeless classic.
well yea the film is good entertainment, you all seem to have overlooked the genius of the song,at the time of its release social reality for blacks wasnt very cool, especially in the south. The teenage 'love' story and the background of day to day life for young people..was hard,Mr Berry is a living commentary of what went on....you young people of today think you got it tough!!.......ha ding a ling!!
Alien1979 Ridley Scott + John Hurt + and a score by Jerry Goldsmith performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra = the most horrific film made. The best film made. I still have Nightmares about being on the Nostromo. You can not copy this movie or chop it up (but they try). It's art. I'm a fan of the age where real movies were made. (the 26 thumbs down belong to Shia LaBeouf fans...may you live forever) P.S. you still have to see James Cameron's Aliens AND John Carpenter's the Thing.
two people not caring what other people think, just feeling the funky groove and letting their souls feel the beat.cocaine tends to do that to us though, fair play to them, love it.especially travolta's cocaine jaw.
because it was such a contrast to the rest of the content of the movie. plus they look damn cool. anyway if you're old enough to remember when the movie came out.. it was something completely new. there was no such thing as popular independents before pulp fiction. it revolutionized the genre
i took my 1st buckets to this movie buckets ppl bye that i meeen water bong. its a scottish thing . so aye propa stoned to this movie but you know that way u dont need a peee or u dont get uncumftible and you end up with a grove in the sofa wene the movies over jeeezo never chooned into a movie so much i sopose i was ther in a very stoned funny kinda way telling john travolta hes got a toe stiking out his sok
I always thought men that can dance have to be at least part-fag...But Travolta danced in his movies since the 70's and has tapped more ass than I could ever dream! All hail the Grand Fuckin Poobah! of the dance, John TRAVOLTA!!!!
@Bassjunkie1985 It's obvious you don't dance, pal. You should try it .It can give you a high without the need for any other stimulant ! I was brought up to dnace from a very young age, and I love it, and I can assure you there's not a trace of "fag " in me.
A seminal, constantly entertaining classic. And yes, the best dance scene ever. Pulp Fiction shall never die. Long live the golden days (the '90s) of Tarrantino's writing (and directing) ...
yes because he sucks mega coporate cock balls now - he never really defined the 90's there were other directors around the world better than him (but pulp fuction and reservoir dogs were seminal events and i liked them)
Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are seminal Los Angeles-based films. I will always love my DVDs and cherish'em. He's still one of my favorite writer/directors, even if the stuff he produces and hails (he loves A TON of SHIT. Ever read some of his interviews of what he praises?) is beautiful garbage. To each they're own, but I would love to bullshit and chit-chat about genre films with him.
I once had a weird dream with me and him, eating pasta and discussing Italian Giallo horror films ...
I know all about his musings as I have studied his work intensely during the 1990's when I was 16 and also own the same DVD's and appreciate his range of knowledge - but sadly all his films post jackie brown have been dire (kill bill and grindhouse nonsense)
that awkward moment when you realize, you'll never never dance as good as 40-year-old John Travolta on heroin.
