well yea the film is good entertainment,you all seem to have overlooked the genius of the song,at the time of its release social reality for blacks wasnt very cool,especially in the south.The teenage 'love' story and the background of day to day life for young people..was hard,Mr Berry is a living commentary of what went on....you young people of today think you got it tough!!.......ha ding a ling!!

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are seminal Los Angeles-based films. I will always love my DVDs and cherish'em. He's still one of my favorite writer/directors, even if the stuff he produces and hails (he loves A TON of SHIT. Ever read some of his interviews of what he praises?) is beautiful garbage. To each they're own, but I would love to bullshit and chit-chat about genre films with him.
