Those of you who are complaining - have you seen the clip of her singing "Gimme Shelter"? Watch that and tell me she doesn't deserve a Grammy for her singing.
I like Pillar and Skillet too. But there is no way they could stand up there with a guitar and mic and do what she does. Her talent is in a hole other level
First of all, you must not have not listened to "Before The Daylight's Shot" cd. Second, read the Scriptures Matt. 12:37 and Rom. 8:1. Third, Ashley does rock 'n roll, NOT heavenly metal.
Fourth, you need prayer. I bet if you were to ask Pillar and Skillet what they think of Ashley's talent you might find the members of those two bands,(whom I've met a few times,) would agree to not condemn, and pray for you as well. Jesus came to love and save the world, not to condemn it. So, chill!!! Amen.
sorry...first ashley does "rock and roll" but this is so boring! and very old old old! 2nd skillet do hard rock and true rock&roll! no heavy metal! 3rd you use the bible ..but we´re talking about music... Obvious they´re christian and we ´re too! and 4th you dont know nothing about Rock!
I discovered Ashley 1 week ago at a concert at Parkview Church "Coffee House". She is the definition of Blue Eyed Soul. Listen to "Queen of Soul" and you'll know what I mean. Thanks Ashley, Margaret, Chicago.

I saw Ashley at a small coffeehouse in MD back around 1998 or 99. I was practically in front of her and it was an amazing performance.

There is no doubt in my mind that Ashley Cleveland is the best vocalist in Christian music today and an Awesome witness to the Lord.
The only problem I have is that is that she needs to put more alblums out.
