  • I've ssen jpanese ppl doing it with katanas :3

  • Porque os brasileiros daqui tão conversando entre si em inglês?

  • @aznorf Oi 'Aznorf'. Acho que é porque os vídeos são em ingles. Made for the English speaking public. Se você tá procurando receitas em português eu posso recomendar o site de alguns amigos.

  • OVERCOOKED

  • Argentines are blow hards with no knowledge at all. Where was Churrascaria born? If you do your proper homework you will find out that was born in today's area (State) called Rio Grande do Sul. Anyway great video nandocuca 2.

  • I have to confess to Argentine steak is actually higher than the Brazilian and our coffee is really good ...

But barbecue goes beyond the flesh on fire. The best part is accomplished through the fellowship of the barbecue, the feeling of buying pounds and pounds of meat over and spend the day eating and drinking with friends.

    Good barbecue to all ....

and Tololino (Argentina) please send me a pound of steak, I want to prove it is really good! kkk ...

    Postal Code: 13253-103 - I'm waiting ...

  • CIRCUMFERENCE OF A BRAZILIAN CLASSIC THAT LIKE A GOOD steak.

But so far, the Americans and Europeans do not like guarana!?

  • truly HAPPYNESS lol you are right Man one of the pleasures of life !!!!!!!!!!!! greetings from Scz-Bolivia

  • Brasilian dont know nothing about barbecue, go to Argentina, there is the true barbecue. Brazil only produce very good cafe.

  • @tololino I am brazilian and traveled to argentina, first thing was trying the famous argentinian barbecue. I was absolutely shocked about the bad quality, hard and tasteless meat, never again

  • Guaraná is really better than others, and i love BBQ brazilian style, to be in UK so long made me love even more brazilian food

  • Observation.

The real barbeque ( Churrasco ) is in RIO GRANDE DO SUL, in the Rio de Janeiro is incorret information talk for this

  • @dinnerkbr who said so?

i like it everywhere, each place have it´s style, but dont exist this stuff of real or fake , it sound so silly hahahaha

  • @dinnerkbr Yes. I know what you mean. I would love to send everyone who visits Brazil to try the true Churrasco Gaucho, but I think most gringos don't venture into your lovely state, so I suggest they go to Rio instead. But if you have some links showing how to make a true Churrasco, I'd be very happy to publish them.

  • mmmm.......happiness :))))))))))))))

  • Meu, esse teu prato com laranjada cortada deu uma de samba do crioulo doido, foi pra uma feijoada e terminou numa churrascada?????? E cadê a cerva, com mané Guaraná?

  • coxão duraço!

  • this is too too too big to be Picanha. It is, maybe, coxão duro. Sorry man!

  • Very nice..

  • Olha o coxão duro aí gente... kkkkkk

  • I would expect a REALLY soft and juicy slice falling from the knife, but I clearly see that it's NOT a Picanha AT ALL.

  • @cibeleblanco Well, even in Brazil I've had my share of tough picanhas in Churrascarias. You have to be really watchful and keep pestering he waiters for the good stuff. In this occasion I didn't have a choice as I had to put up with whatever tey were serving but I seem to remember it being nice and soft.

But thanks for your comment. I'm always open to suggestions and if you know of any other good videos about picanha do let me know.

  • @nandocuca Wow, thanks for replying me. You are a really nice youtube user ;)

  • @nandocuca

    /watch?v=CIQOIzTYz5E

a very good, soft and juicy picanha. But it is in portuguese.

  • @cibeleblanco i'm from Brazil mate and this is a real, juicy and tasty Picanha. the only and exclusive Picanha. u can trust me. regards .

  • @436068 I am Brazilian too, Gaúcha.

    :)

  • @cibeleblanco bem, nesse caso você pode perceber que o corte é o de picanha com o coxão duro logo atrás. sei que os cortes exportados são um pouco diferentes mas pode ter certeza que é picanha. abs.

  • colesterol

  • @mochimochi25 Brazilians are pretty health conscious (I know you would not thing so by looking at me) and not even the most ardent Brazilian would eat churrasco every day. Plus they tend to eat a lot more fruit than Europeans and exercise a lot. So on balance we still eat a healthy diet.

  • @nandocuca ok!!!I like churrasco too.

  • @mochimochi25 what r u talkin about, theres no cholesterol, and if you are an american, you should take alook at what you americans first before saying cholesterol on other kinds of food.

  • Brazilians have to stop being mean to each other. Nando, your tips are "show de bola". YUMMY!!!! When I go to Rio wait for me!

    A brazilian friend in L.A.

    Regards,

    Cris.

  • @burlacchini Thanks for your support Cris. I don't mind, I'm a seasoned internet user and know how people tend to go a bit mad on comments. Have a look at the war of words ont the Feijoada recipe - it's like WW II there. I appreciate each and every commend. If you like my videos, please make sure you click on the 'LIKE' thumbs-up thing. All the best. Nando

  • but you have to keep waiting for more meat

  • Nando, you and your videos taught me how to make churrasco, moqueca both the hot and cerviche styles and now the guys from SSB in Cali are teaching me how to speak portuguese. I just want to thank you guys for all these resources on youtube. Because I'm a poor musician who likes to travel, I spend all my money on travel but not lessons to speak the languages I need to know!! Muito obrigado, voce e' show de bola!

  • please could you make a video about mortadala?

  • Thanks, I didnt know this was how the meat was cooked!! Looks easy enough! I"m trying to make some at home brazilian barbecue, but I am not sure if it is possible to find the same meat in american supermarkets?

  • Guarana it's delicious but choose the brand antartica. Guarana and pizza...wow!!!

  • Chef Bobby Flay did a special on the Brazilian Churrasceria. It's hard not to salivate. I have had the Argentinian style with the chimi churri sauce. It's orgasmic! I will try the Brazilian style. It's all good!

  • This video is suck's, the real brazilian barbecue is not made like that, if you want to learn how to make the best brazilian barbecue just type . Marcos Bassi on you tube

  • @vincenzicesar Man! Thanks for the tip! Marcos Bassi teaches absolutely everthing one should know to make a good barbecue!

    delicious though!

  • RICKSON BY ARMBAR

  • haha isso é farofa???

Pô, você poderia ter tomado Coca-Cola, é bem melhor. Guarana Antartica é horrivel

  • man, i wish i can fly back to Brazil right now

  • The procedure is perfect, can´t have any better.

But the beef chunk is horrible, fat cover is not uniform, this is the first basic step.

  • Very informative video. 5/5

  • there's nothing better than Brazilian barbecue!

  • Food looks good but I hate loud obnoxious host.

  • Nice! i went to a bazilian friends of mine bbq last weekend and we had this! I got a big thick rump steak today and im about to pan fry it! as soon as i finish my beer! i shall eat it while drinking a glass or red! Of course not forgetting to sprinkle sea salt on it before cooking it medium rare! mmmmmm

  • Gringo é bobo mesmo comendo COXÃO DURO pensando que é picanha

  • Picanha desse tamanho? Isso é picanha pra gringo...

  • its called farofa....SpeciesofJael, excellent on everything as well as rice and beans

  • how can someone at home with limited equipment prepare picanha? would it be good panseared and finished in the oven?

  • Sure. Pan-sear it and put the whole cut in the oven with the fat side up in a preheated over at 190c. It makes a wonderful roast. Don't let it dry out though. Use a roast thermometre if you have one.

  • Does this cut of meat stay tender and juicy ? I always though of a rump steak as something you want to braise in liquid. It sure looks damn tasty!

  • @godspeed18 there is actually a very easy way to prepare the barbecue, and quite common in Brazil, you just get some bricks, stack them in the form of a box (square with a side of 2ft and height 1ft), use charcoal or firewood ( but the wood must burn to get a brazier before baking anything), cook your meat on top and be happy.

  • 0:43

  • finally something that looks nice

  • Only salt? is that all..must be tastless

  • Stop eating cheap cuts of meat.

  • Not Necessarily, one allows the natural taste of the meat to come though rather than covering it with marinade.

  • That's because you have never eaten. When you eat you will understand how senseless your statement was.

  • essa picanha tá mais pra coxão duro!

  • LMAO with the "Mmm, happiness!" xD

Brazillian churrasco is just the manliest activity a guy can take part in. And the tastiest too, IMHO.

  • i like this meat......Ciao

  • What is the name of the stuff you dip your meat in when you eat? its bread crumbs or something.

  • I'm not sure of the spelling of both words but I think you would call it Euca flour (Yew-Kah) or the Brazilian's call it Manjoca (Mang-Zhoh-Kah)

It usually has some little bacon pieces in it, I like it on the meat. They also put it on the Rice and Beans.

  • I agree totally Flavio9021. Go down south!

  • well... if this guy want know a relly Churrasco, must go to Rio Grande do Sul.

  • this guy looks like kinda italian

    like, a mama mia guy

  • well done, yuck! it's best almost rare

  • Thank you for this video. I found a good recipe for Picanha, it's simple enough. I was looking for video showing the technique used in the grilling, now I've found it. The recipe refers to the meat as "the cap of the top sirloin", I asked my butcher and he said it was simply Tri-Tip with the layer of fat intact. In the USA just ask your butcher to cut you a Tri-Tip and leave that layer of fat on it.

  • Aonde e esse restaurante?

  • PICANHA is NOT RUMP STEAK... that in Brazil is MAMINHA.

The correct for PICANHA is SIRLOIN STEAK.

The meat is nicely done there, although professional meat eaters like it sliced thicker and consequenlty, bloody as hell.

  • Wrong. Top Sirloin Cap is Picanha.

  • great movie! i am gonna try it

  • Churrasco on favela yeah! hauheuhauehqaheuh

  • AWESOME! I agree, HAPPINESS!
