this man is the best Iv seen by far on utube, the bold strokes the huge attempt on site , confidance , buddy you should be in the new south wales art gallery, the work and colour is superb, this man is second to none. good stuff.
Really cool concept for a video, really enjoyed this one very much, enjoyed all the artwork videos, like the style, liked the music as well, who's the music by?
I completely understand that! My short term memory is just as bad. Must be all those paint fumes from growing up. Well, this one really came out great. I love the high key values that you chose for it. (so often plein air painters end up painting everything so dark, simply because it's so bright out there). And your details... the waves, and the cliffs... it's all so cool. Love it! ~Helen
It wasn't so much a decision as the only way I could see what I was sketching... It was hard for me as my short term memory is honed to remember something a few milliseconds shorter. I usually line the easel up so I can look paint forgot the info.... I found I was looking and by the time I'd turned round I'd forgotten the info. The view in the sketch is about 150 degrees.....
Hi John, i remember this day, hope your ok, give me a call whenever you can Simon

Splendid work. What kinds of color did you use? Acrylics?

That's a great idea to use two easels to support your large canvas! I've never seen it done before.

Nice one, Jon! Looks great. Why did you decide to paint this one with your back to the scene? ~Helen Zapata
