Don't get me wrong, I totally respect them, and they're far from bad in my eyes... just not my cup of tea. I think they're closer to hard rock, than metal/thrash.... kinda like AC/DC... and I say that very loosely.

He was in Sadus, the great technical thrash band, Autopsy, one of the greatest Death Metal bands ever, and more importantly, DEATH, the greatest band ON THE PLANET. Seriously, listen to something off of "Individual Thought Patterns", like The Philosopher. Steve does a great job, and plays Fretless bass. Also check out Sadus's "Through the Eyes of Greed", Death's "Lack of Comprehension", and Autopsy's "Severed Survival".
