The collapsible stock is the best part about an AR.

to remove the LE stock you pull the lever ALL the way down instead of pulling up and them you slide it off the buffer tube. and if your buying a new stock make sure it's for the right buffer tube thickness

i really like my full length vltor but its just a little too long for my carbine in my opinion. Guess i have to do a 20" rifle build now

No, the first stock is a Vltor Modstock (Clubfoot). There's no LMT/Crane SOPMOD stock shown.

you need a special tool to do the tube right, how hard are the rail systems to install
liljohn30 2 years ago
well the tool makes the job A LOT easier for sure
Rails are not a big problem, but they sometimes require a few tools that most people don't have
Decide if you think you'll be swapping things out a lot.. if so buy the tools and save money
See if a friend has tools you can borrow or use
All else fails take it to a shop and get it done well by experts who do that kind of stuff everyday

how do i install a collapsible stock on my fixed stock ar
not real complicated, but I suspect a video would describe it quicker
Basically remove yours, replace the receiver extension (buffer tube) and slide on the stock of your choice
I went with the collapsible Magpul stock. Very nice stock.

I am in the market for an AR collapsible stock. Thanks to this video I think I have made my decision. Keep up the good work!
No Problem.. but which one did you decide on ???
