all these people saying i can get drunk instead for that price 6 times. you sure could but this is way less damaging to your body. it works, this coming from someone who has been a hard partier for years. this stuff had me stuck on the couch. it doesnt work for alot of people because they dont have the patience to brew it correctly. do it right. do your research. have fun
kava is ok but its bad for your liver, mulungu is a great replacement it feels very similar and its like $5 an oz on eBay its a good deal plus its legal everywhere
The real reason Kava is not popular in the united states is that it rarly ever works, and always tastes horrible. Its also a big rip off, 30 bucks for a pound of kava, I could get drunk six times for that much if I bought whiskey. Amaricans actualy want drugs that work.
@turborabbit1114 It hardly ever works because people here in America have incredibly short attention spans and have yet to give kava a chance. When drinking traditionally you must allow time for the kavalactones to build in the body before any true effects are felt. Capsules, extracts, forget those. Root and water is all you need, give it some time, and it all becomes clear.
i read that book getting stoned with savages, the author said alot about the varied potencies, he said kava from vanuatu is the strong in the worlf when made properly, im not lyin, its true
@modernwarfarenoob -truth of the matter is that as the popularity of Kava grew in the early 2000s, unscrupulous manufacturers used the potentially poisonous tops and leaves of kava plants in their kava supplements, setting off a chain reaction of liver damage rumor worldwide. Unfortunately, unjustified bans on kava subsequently spread across the world.
