Thanks for the help. I never really got anything started in my grow bed because my pea gravel got clogged and kept overflowing on the floor of my kitchen. My fish is no longer with us as his air pump had gone bad during the night and their was very little air for him. He was full size in this 10 gal tank, it made me sad to see him have so little space so I had moved him over to a 44gal tank and thats when he had died because of no air. My new system is 94gals with one 35 gal growbed with citris.
Looks like you got an algae problem. Don't put any direct light on the tank and it should solve the problem. And avocado and pineapples might not be the best thing to start with. Just start with lettuce. How big is your grow bed?
