I did 1611 miles biking the AlCan when I was 18 years old in 1991. It took all summer between school. It was a self contained trip with other team mates. We camped along the way. I'll never forget it. : )

good for you for biking the alaska highway! i couldn't imagine doing it at any time of year! to me, it's adventure enough motorbiking it.
