Maybe so, but the real reason Cynthia was the leader, was so that there was a twist in the story. You don't actually know who the leader is for the entire game.
It's like Scooby Doo, it turns out it's the character that is introduced, then forgotten.

I don't want to play the japanese version of Pokemon Platinum i want the ENGLISH version so im waiting buy Pokemon Platinum when it comes out with the english version in 2009 ;D

In Pokemon Platinum she has this team! Sneasel Lv.40 Piloswine Lv.40 Abomasnow Lv.42 Froslass Lv.44 (Her strongest pokemon) and in the rematch against Candice she has Weavile Lv.62 Abomasnow Lv.61 Mamoswine Lv.61 Froslass Lv.63 Glaceon Lv.65 (Her new strongest pokemon) Just look at my team for Candice i writed it for 3 months before i even new about Pokemon Platinum! i got every pokemon of her team correct except Walrein! and that Mamoswine isn't her strongest pokemon ;P

buneary, steelix and drifblim-changed to magmortar, houndoom and flareon
medicham and girafig- changed to gallade and espeon

aaron is much easier since he(in my opinion) uses weak defense bug pokemon which can be taken out with a goood flying'fire type move

Yes but if you battle him in platinum he has better pokemon. He's also a lot tougher than in diamond and pearl.
