I don't care to discuss what Ayn Rand looked like, but I do enjoy reading her nonfiction. These bailouts are NOT capitalism and would not even be possible if we had non-fiat (real) money. Do you realize that people like myself would not force any political ideology whatsoever on those who think like you? Do you realize the reason for the conflict is that people who think like you use force and violence to assert your ideology on others?

Instead, every interaction is voluntary and so the only way a third party can take your money is if they offer you something in return you feel is more valuable than the cost. Yes, you are correct, such a pure system has never existed. Hence, the title of her book Capitalism: the Unknown Ideal. Rand was an expert thinker.

Most liberals mean well and simply don't know about personal property rights, the proper role of government, or even what capitalism is.
