Im really new to cnc too got my sieg x2 up and running a few days ago under mach3 but ive things to learn yet, ive only done playing back of movements that ive made so far as im not sure how to set the mill up properly before trying to cut from my miles so that i dont break any endmills etc.. regards Richard
I'm a graphic artist and I've got Maya. Is it hard to write the scripts and convert them to g-code? I'm more of a modeler then an animator so I haven't had to use MEL much. Do you know any good tutorials?

very good but thats not the whole symbol, the top middle shape whould have a hole in it.

How much does a Sherline 5400 CNC mini-mill cost?

if you get mach3 software you can convert 2d or 3d vector art to Gcode toolpaths easilly.
