  • I love this video! :))) the performance is really great I've never seen something like that, but I think I like it even more because they sing an old song from my country- Serbia,at the end. :)

  • th eonly reason why i can think they mentioned th eindigo is because of the burlesque feel but if you think the indigo is the only dance troupe who does a burleque feel you are VERY wrong

  • Indeed. I get frustrated when people say anyone doing burlesque-fusion bellydance are copying the Indigo. The Indigo are a great bellydancing group, of course, but they didn't invent the Tribal Fusion style. They are just one of many who prefer it.

  • yea...indigo is great. but burlesque and fusions like that have been around forever

  • In fact I think this burlesque/vintage trend started waaaay before the Indigo presented a piece with that feel.. mezmer society has been around for a while and also.. I cant help but remember Jill Parker´s Nouveu night´s piece with Ultra Gypsy in 2005/2006

  • i fergot... 'OnKA & August of the Mezmer Society' so funny, at least it wasn't Orca!

  • heh....well Onca has been doing this drunk sword dance for at least 8 years that I can remember...and it was at my request that she brought it back into her current repertoire. Watching her do it outside on uneven ground is even more amazing!

  • The costuming, they're drinking, a balkan group live, they're trying to be funny although I agree with you, their movements (zafira) are more ghawazee, zafira has more vocabulary of movements, they dance great.

My point is that this show reminds me of the indigo in tribal fest 2008.

  • cool.... just curious mostly. I like hearing feedback.... what the audience sees....

    thanks!

  • please, don't try to be like the indigo... be original

  • in some ways i totally agree.. but i spose it has/had been done before the indigo as well :)

  • how does this remind you of the Indigo? in what ways...?? curious....

  • I'd like to know as well... I think even though the costuming may be SIMILAR, choreographically Zafira and the Indigo are worlds apart (both amazing though=)
