Training videos of missiles hitting dummy targets doesn't exactly proclaim an air of superiority. I know the Russians have some crazy systems with the S-500 and S-600, but they've yet to see combat because they don't want them copied by the countries they sell them to. US ships have the SM-3 and other ABM defense systems, but US analysts still recognize the anti-ship ballistic missile developed by China to be a serious game changer.

Training videos of missiles hitting dummy targets doesn't exactly proclaim an air of superiority. I know the Russians have some crazy systems with the S-500 and S-600, but they've yet to see combat because they don't want them copied by the countries they sell them to. As much as I hate the US being at war for the last 50 years, at least we have a chance to try out our equipment and see if it sucks or not. Training videos doesn't scare anybody

S-400 isn't ship based AA weapon.S-400 firstly needs to be located which will be hard since it's totally mobile AA system.S-400 is exactly weapon against ballistic missiles and it's capable of tracking and destroying them before separation stage.Russian ships have AA defense similar to S-300 and Club type missiles and more.Russia also has ballistic missiles:Yars,Topol-M,Bulava,Liner,Sineva just few so your point is?You haven't got a clue.

Both the Bulava & Sineva are Nuclear SLBM, and not suited for Ship defense, nor are they anti-ship ballistic missiles ASBM's. If China neutralized the USA's or Russia's naval fleet with conventional weapons like the ASBM, neither the USA or Russia could reasonably be expected to respond with Nukes without an international outcry.I'm with you though, if China did sink either a US or Russian ship with the ASBM, a full retaliatory Nuclear strike should be ordered.
