  • This is one time that I am grateful for places like YouTube since the news stations won't report this news.

  • I really wish I could've gone but since I was at NCYC, I couldn't go. God bless everyone and have a safe travel

  • I really wish I could go this year, but I have school and work. :( Maybe next year! God bless all you who are going (:

  • Lol I was just thinking about this funny part of the day in DC. My friends and I were all, ya know, "marchin", and there's this woman standing on a car holding a sign and saying that we're all gonna go to hell cuz being pro life is against God o,O ....but to be honest I almost peed myself laughing :)

  • that is really unbelieveable. People who say God is pro choice because of free will completely do not understand God. We can't go this year because we just had this litter of puppies - but we will be watching on EWTN. God Bless you - we are praying for the march

  • Hahaha I knoww. Well at least it added some exitement right? God bless her soul :) hahaha. Congrats on the puppies. Keep your prayer on!

  • I was there :) amazing day. I'm gonna be there tomorrow too. March For Life 2010!! Hopefully we won't need to have one next year.

  • Ever find it kind it funny most pro choice vids have "comment pending approval" on and they only allow comments that agree with pro choice view points?

  • im going to this again.

    17 hours on a train!

im from IL, and im only 15.

this was amazing. as was the rally thing at the Verizon Center.

  • Awesome good for you :) it IS an awesome march. Well see ya there! Along with thousands of other people hopefully.

  • I went to this and I am going again this year 2010. Please pray that congress will STOP abortion. Roe V. Wade has got to go! I am so proud to be pro - life.

  • 16 hours in a bus 100% worth it!!

  • I was there. It was one of the most inspiring Marches I've ever been to. The number of people was extraordinary and their faith and believe in life was riveting. I can't wait for next month!

I love the one sign: "A person is a person, no matter how small" -- Dr. Seuss ~ Amen to that!! <3

  • you know what, that sign was our shirts for this yearr! looking forward to it.!

  • I am proud to be pro-life.

  • Awesome video-

    Abortion=Murder

    Save the Babies!

  • i went 2 this

  • abortion is the Silent holocost

  • Inspiring!

  • Woe to those that make a covenant with death.

  • that's right ariaane. 1/2 of that choice is death. But using a work like "choice" compartmentalizes abortion, puts it on a shelf and somehow gives the illusion of fairness No abortion is fair to the preborn.

  • taint fair to the Mother either.

She don't know that till it's too late.

  • I've just seen your comment, MindsofHumanity, and yes I agree.

Choice, when used in reference to abortion, is just a way to distract attention away from what abortion is truly about- the ending of the lives of the unborn.

If choice was given to the unborn, they would not opt to have their skulls punctured with scissors.

  • If i was going to live in poverty, disease, hunger, painful disfigurements, yes I would chose to have my skull punctures with scissors.

  • Exactly ariaane!

  • Thanks Danice!

  • Thanks Dandice!

  • Mu church went to that march , I got to go thereand it was amazing, we were lucky enough to be near the front, it was amazing, we were the ones in yellow scarves, i also love this song

  • Very nice vid glad the protest are still comming with the tea parties

  • Author Thomas Frank perfectly puts this rally in it's correct context, in his essay "Lie down for America". As he says-

Vote to stop abortion; receive a rollback in capital-gains taxes. Vote to make our country strong again; receive deindustrialization. Vote to screw those politically correct college professors; receive electricity deregulation. Vote to get government off our backs; receive conglomeration and monopoly everywhere from media to meatpacking.

  • Vote to stand tall against terrorists; receive Social Security privatization efforts. Vote to strike a blow against elitism; receive a social order in which wealth is more concentrated than ever before in our lifetimes, in which workers have been stripped of power and CEOs are rewarded in a manner beyond imagining.

  • Best!!!God Bless!!!

  • And there's tens of Millions of people who are marching for the right to choose, no disrespect intended.

  • where?

  • Comment removed

  • Right to choose what? That is the question.

You mean 'choose to kill their unborn defenseless children', don't you?

  • Oh yeah, outlaw abortion, and it will really stop it from happening. Back alley abortions in which the mother would bleed too death, and the unborn will die too. If you really don't want abortions, then promote birth control, and comprehensive Sex Ed, when you fund it, oh, my bad, the catholics will get pissed at the guy who made the decision to fund condoms, and comprehensive sex ed., oppose condoms, people get diseases, and that shows who are against life......

  • PT 1

    1. The amount of backstreet abortions that occurred prior to Roe vs Wade was nowhere near as high as the rate of legalised abortions which have been procured to date- 47 million to be exact. This far surpasses the tens of thousands who may have procured backstreet abortions.

    2. As abortion will always occur regardless of its legality, so will rape, paedophilia and murder. Should we then legalise this currently criminal acts as they are bound to occur regardless of its legal standing?

  • PT 2

    3. Since the advent of sex education, STDs and HIV have been on the RISE- so called safe sex does not work! ¼ of young people in the US have an STD- and this is occurring regardless of increased sex education.

Condoms even have a 15% failure rate, and according to the British Medical Journal, Skin to skin" and "skin to sore" infections such as human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus, syphilis, lymphomagranuloma venereum, or chancroid often transmit DESPITE barrier protection.

  • PT 3

The main problem with condoms is that average people, particularly aroused youth, do not use them consistently, regardless of knowledge or education.2 6 Although condoms offer some protection against discharge related infections such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, protection is usually compromised by compliance issues, incorrect use, or mechanical failure.

  • PT 4

The relentless rise of sexually transmitted infection in the face of unprecedented education about and promotion of condoms is testament to the lack of success of this approach. In numerous large studies, concerted efforts to promote use of condoms has consistently failed to control rates of sexually transmitted infection—even in countries with advanced sex education programmes such as Canada, Sweden, and Switzerland

  • I was there! It seriously was the greatest!

  • Sorry I forgot to add one thing to my last post. Do you know those posters that are stop signs and they say "Stop Abortion Now"? Where can I purchase one of those signs? I don't know where to purchase any pro-life signs.

  • The Knights of Columbus in your area will have the signs. Also most Catholic Churches have a Respect Life Committee that can hook you up. Try to make it to next years Life March Jan 22 ,11am Washinton DC

  • Oh my gosh at 1:58 I see a sign for Holy Child Parish which is awesome because I know that church! It's good to see so many people from all over the nation coming together to save the unborn babies.

  • This is a beautiful video, thank you for posting it. I so wish i could have gone and been with all the other pro-lifers. It is truly inspiring to see so many people standing up for the innocent lives of unborn babies, and it just shows that anything is possible when done through God. We just have to pray that Obama has a change of heart and vetoes the FOCA bill. God Bless!

Your parents must be so proud of you.

  • "any country that accepts abortion is the poorest of the poor" -Mother Theresa of Calcutta

  • It was incredible seeing so many people from so many different cultural and religious backgrounds come together for this great cause! I was humbled to be there...

  • I was there! It was my first time attending and it was simply amazing! I just had a baby and it made it all the more meaningful... I hope to attend next year also! Simply amazing and inspiring... Together we can stop the culture of death and moral decay!

  • It really lifts my spirit to see that there are still people left in this nation that stand true for Christ and for life. Great job, guys! :)

  • Why would anybody want to waste money on abortion funding (FOCA) when our country doesn't even have the money!!!!! Jeez, people it's common sense, fight FOCA

  • Great video!

    Fight FOCA!

  • what happened to your video?! God bless you guys for braving the freezing cold & marching for Life! Life is our most basic Freedom.

  • I wish I was there! I cannot believe this! America, why did you vote for him? You heard all the warnings, and you didn't listen!

  • They knew more about Sarah Palin than him.

  • you should really educate yourself before you embarrass yourself like this

  • Hello,

I'm "collecting" prolife videos on Youtube. Please consider linking this video to my "For Right to Life Supporters" video.

  • What a shame that you are so ignorant. I do pray that you gain the understanding of the sanctity of life at all levels as well as the gift of procreation between a husband and wife. If you ever "knock up" some "random person", knock on my door and I will be more than happy to ensure the child, as all God 's children, is entrusted to a loving family. I know many who would love the blessing. In the meantime, I pray for the conversion of the discord in your heart.

  • Go to your local library check out an embrology text book because, it tells you when life begins which is when a sperm meets the egg their is an explosion of growth with all the DNA information that you will have the rest of your life. Abortion is not the killing of potential life it is the killing of life.

  • This is the police. We are coming to your house right now. The court of stupid and insane comments found you guilty.

  • You are one ignorant fuck.

  • Abortion is the killing of UNBORN babies. That is what we are marching and fighting against. Life is also the first constitutional right. A babies heart begins to beat only 20 days after conception. And at around 9 weeks or so, it's a fully formed human being. They also know if their wanted. You were one too, once. We are America, the supposed light to the rest of the world, the beacon of Freedom,Hope, and above all, Justice, for ALL AMERICANS including the unborn. And by the way, I'm one of 11

  • The march was very orderly, respectful and peaceful. One of the comments repeated over and over was in reference to the numbers of young people. The only anger was from the handful of pro-choice women that yell out at the marchers. Meanwhile, The bama is funding overseas abortions, and Shrieker of the House proposes funds for family planning as part of an economic stimulus as to relieve the local governments of these functions. You know, we could shut abortion down. I wish we had the will.

  • There was at least a million i believe.

  • I was there!!!!!

  • d00d 1tz s0 4w3some! MSM FTW!

  • The media are overwhelmingly pro-choice so it's no wonder they don't cover the March for Life. I was pro-choice once, but had a change of heart when I began to realize that choosing to give birth and either raise your child or give it up for adoption was a loving choice, but abortion was a selfish choice. It's really all about love and lack of it. We live in a world where selfishness has been elevated to a virtue. My eyes were opened.

  • if that is the case, then why did obama sign the order to fund abortions around the world on Friday? if it is a private decision then the public tax dollars should not be paying for it

  • @DemonicGemini Yes the government shouldnt being paying for abortions with tax dollars.

  • I sometimes wonder how the media can even sleep at night. They know what is going on and yet they don't break away to educate the masses that a coup has taken place. God help us.

  • Great job! Keep up the prayers and the good work!

  • omg i was there =] i am from illinois and i just got back from Washington DC. i went to the Rally and the march. it was amazing! im going next year as well! ive always been pro life. but there was a pro choice lady who held a sign saying " You are NOT in the Catholic church any more. you are on (the street name). GO ROT IN HELL". it made me upset but oh well i stood behind my beliefs 100%. and if FOCA goes thro. all the catholic hospitals in my Diocese will shut down (it might be nation wide)

  • This is AWESOME!!!!!! This was not even reported in the main stream media. What a beautiful thing to see hundreds of thousands of people marching for life!!!

  • Awesome! I WAS THERE!

  • How awesome! At 41 seconds are my friends from church who would not miss an annual March for Life and they are in their 80s and he pushes her in her wheelchair every year and calls her his "little girl."

  • They were so inspiring to me, I had to get a picture!

  • i was there with my 8th grade class this was the most moving...u know what i cant even explaine it! but it was amazing to see all those people be there MARCHING FOR LIFE for those unborn babies for the woman that were silent we have a chance to make all of this change : ] and yes i am for obama i just totaly disagree with pro-choice and when i was there listening to " silent no more woman" protesters were there screaming " pro-life thats a lie we dont care if they die" ...those babies r humans

  • It is so awesome that you were there and that you are pro-life. This is why obama won because so many people were willing to overlook his stance on Life and vote for him anyway. Now many more thousands of babies will die because he was elected. Alot of the laws he will sign will not be so easy to overturn so who knows how long they will be in effect.

  • That's the largest crowd I've ever seen at March for Life. I heard 300,000 came to send a message, but Obama still did the killers' bidding. Shame on him.

  • i went toooooo!!!! i go every year good 4 u!!!

  • I was there!!! :D We just got home from a 25 hour bus ride back to Louisiana!

Its my second year going to the march and it was even better than i remembered!

The news interviewed some of us when we got home and its on the local news tonight :D

    <3

  • awesome!! 25 hours - that's dedication to LIFE

  • i was going to go with my school, but it got cancelled b/c too many ppl couldn't afford it. :(

  • Thanks for sharing! I tried to watch it on the news, but not shockingly, the press did not cover it. Although I thought at least Fox would have, but I watched for a while and they said nothing.

  • I was there! It is such a great thing to be a part of!

  • This is amazing i would love to march in something like this. it stinks the media doesn't cover this

  • 200,000 people who love life, and the world ignors us again.

  • this year was my first time going on the march. i went with pope john high school. we drove 6 hours from 5:30 in the morning and didnt get home until 10:30.

    but it was worth it.

the march was amazing. there were so many people there to support what they believe in. there were haters there but it was worth it.

  • Ohh the one in New Jersey? I have friends that go there.

  • weakling. i rode on a bus for fourteen hours straight without sleeping all night.

but it was totally worth it.

    yay yayyyy go life.

    god bless.

  • I went there with the diocese of Trenton, there were so many people, How can roe v wade still exist when so many people were there showing they're love for life?

  • 5 *****

  • It was sooo amazing i was there with a group of teens from NH. This pictures are great but its soo hard to really grasp the reality of the march unless you were really there.

  • You are so right - pictures don't do it justice. Wall to wall people, block after block, all for the cause of life - truly amazing! We have gone 7 times and this was the msot people we ever saw - there may have been 500,000!!

  • This is a great capture of the 200,000 + people at the 2009 March for Life DC -- great song too! It's almost as good as being there!! (not quite)

  • i was there.. im form ny it was like a 4 and a half or 5 hour drive.. it was awesome. im 18 and i noticed there was tons of teens. it was a great experience. someone needs to tell barack that we wat change!!!

  • Actually, things are going to change. Except not in pro-life favor. Bush started the partial birth abortion ban (though it was often ignored), and rumor has it, Obama plans on getting rid of it. Things are definitely going to change, but in a pro-choice direction it seems, now that the president is backing it.

  • i also just got back last night i went with my high school from fairfield CT. i am pro-life and i to thought it was truely amazing to see that many people march for something that they believe in. It is sad that the press managed to ignored it. but over all i thought it was a touching and an amazing experience and i am glad that i was able to be a part of it.

  • I agree with sharon 100%. I am a 13 year-old homeschooler in Raleigh, NC. I went to the march with 100 other people from my church. I always felt so alone about my views on abortion, but going to the march strengthened my views and was a touching experience.

  • Congratulations to the hundreds of thousands of people to who were able to make it to Washington to march for life. Unfortunately, the press managed to ignore it again this year. Can you imagine the coverage if it was a politically correct group that was marching for something!!

I am pleased to see how many young people are pro-life despite the message they have been exposed to since birth. Keep up the good work. You will be victorious.

  • keep up the fight!!! You are supported by so many!

Thank you for being the real hope for our future

  • So encouraging..keep it up!

  • Awesome video, I actually found myself in a couple pictures. It was a truly amazing day :)

  • Outstanding! I just got back last night.

It's a shame that it's never covered, or if it is, they say two people came (sigh).

If people came, they wouldn't believe how huge it is.

  • Great job!

  • awesome!!!

  • Its Your Future Im So Proud Of You Kids For Facing The Causes Of Our Country , There are so much more distractions Now Days to those who refuse to stand up for a cause ! Play your video Games ! *****
