@robertlewisvazquez Even clear plexiglass will work. The image will not be as noticeable though. You can always spray paint the back of it too. Anything added to make the image stand out more.
Well, perhaps there could be another layer of plastic molded on it ? Or man has to make so small and dense arcs that single scratches are hard to distinguish ?
Scratches are essential to tilt the light so you cannot totally hide and polish them out, I think.
Really cool! The last I saw people making holograms was a really detailed process involving lazers and vibration proof tables and all. But yours look just as good, if not better. Too bad you wind up with all the compass scratches after. Could they be buffed out, and retain the image still?

@geniusguy2000 ; Hard to explain shortly but if You draw arcs in different radius then You get dots in different "3D-distance".
