Okay let me start off by saying the only thing Michael was ever addicted to was pain medication. This addiction was caused by the infamous Pepsi hair-on-fire accident that Michael suffered in 1984. His scalp was burned VERY badly and he had to take pain medication to reduce the pain. He became addicted and that is why he had to go into treatment as he mentioned in the second clip. He most likely did not do heroin or any other kind of drug.
