@paulliptrott I don't think it is meant to be flattering.. she is clearly sad and lonely, I don't think they want to portray her only as a beautiful girl, as all of the other pop divas (beyoncé, rhianna, etc) are. In my opinion, the 2:51 shot shows her sad lonely side, which we see clearly at the end when she cries.
