Typical reaction from a player on a losing team...blaming every other team for not beating the Braves, and blaming every team that beat them towards the end of the season. Instead of taking it like a man and saying that his team just didn't play that well, and didn't do what they needed to do win the division and make into the playoffs. What a joke Daryl Strawberry!!!!
Living in Atlanta during that stretch was a special time! Everything was comming together not only for the Braves but for the whole city! I'll never forget the good times!
yeah 96 was a tough one since we were up two on the yankees and the same with 91. But i am happy with what we had. 2010 was like a blast from the past as well.

@nintendodailyvideos, I remember that 93 year. I was living in Alpharetta and remembering seeing the last game of the season where after the Braves beat the Rockies then turning to ESPN to watch the Giant game. The Giants had that big 8 1/2 to 9 game lead and then blew it the second half of the season.

The Braves need to put together a 20th or 25th anniversary DVD for this with all kinds of footage....i'd buy it.

Wonderful memories! The Braves used to be the 'laughing joke' of the baseball league and this was the year the Braves finally earned respect!

I think it was ironic that in 91 the giants beat the dodgers to give the braves and in 93 the dodgers beat the giants to give atlanta the divison
