Nothing wrong with that. I've heard some arguments that VATS takes away one of the challenging aspects of FPS play (re: aiming. Without a trigger cursor, no less). That, and the action is a lot more fast paced if you don't use VATS.

On the other hand...selectively aiming at someone's face, kneecap or gun is just too damn fun. :)
