  • it is always a pleasure to hear one of US. Express himself like someone that is well read. Im so tired of hearing people speak and act like savages on camera. Much respect to Talib. Great post YO!!

  • I enjoy Talib's music but this guy cannot take criticism at all.

  • talib kweli one of the best rappers

  • Yeaaaa boiiiiiii...100th like lol

  • that credits song sounds like immortal technique

  • relfection eternal is my favorite hip hop album. maybe my favorite album. up there.

  • noob question but whats the song starting at 0:43?

  • @Evileater It's called The Blast on the first album of Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek duo), the singer is Vinia Mojica in the original song, idk if it's her on stage too).

  • he is man enoough to go his way :)

  • WTF the beats tek did for g unit and 50 cent were like 99% of tek's other beats, sick as fuck. the rappers on those beats might have been "pop" rap artists, but the beats were truly pure hip hop and sick as fuck

  • ★★★NEW MUSIC★★★

  • the guy who wrote the review made 4 youtube accounts and disliked this video on each of them

  • whats the song that plays during credits?

  • only faggots hate 50 cent cause his music and his lyrics resemble stuff these faggots are intimidatd by haha

  • @peterscoop I'm not intimidated by matrialistic crap

  • @90mv troll 0/10

  • @90mv and 50 is nto intimidated by anything so am i, one of his fans lol, people like you are unable to listen to good music you must find some artist and make philosophy not just listen to music you dont haveears if you say g unit is crap if even talib said they love real hiphop lol

  • @peterscoop I doubt he's not intimidated by anything he's human it's all a front anyway music is all taste at the end of the day

  • @90mv yes its taste

  • @peterscoop exactly, much love to anyone who keeps hiphop alive and real, kweli mos def 50 the whole g unit. raekwon dead prez papoose goddamn hell even some southern artists, shout out to all them

  • This guy unlike others sounds intelligent

  • smart dude man

  • Talib admits he gave into peer pressure, takes realness to say it like that.

    Reflections Eternal: Real Hip-Hop.

  • We need another album or a mixtape of something!

  • word.

  • when I think hiphop, 50 cent does not even break the memory at all

  • @Bushology check power of the dollar then here check Slow Doe

    /watch?v=F5LdmzHvKrw

  • @Bushology

dont worry ... a lot of people have that misconception ... because 50 ruled the top of billboard for 4 or 5 years straight people tend to acknowledge him as a pop act.

whatever... just know dude got a lot of good stuff in his portfolio... its no Reflection Eternal but its good hip hop nonetheless.

  • @oldirtybastard213 yea, its no reflection eternal, its much better

  • @peterscoop

50 cent's shit is better than Kweli's? hahaha please go slap yourself and jerk off to your Lil Wayne albums hahaha

  • @MMAenthusiastUHHE and you jerk off to your atcq and mos def album faggot

  • @peterscoop

hahhaha you admitted that you jerk off to Lil wayne! that's kinda fucking guy dude, I rather use some good ol' girl on girl videos.

  • @Bushology faggot

  • the writer is probably caught up in the subject matter...

because g-unit lyrically "sounds hard" and t. kweli isn't so hardcore gangsta like them, i guess he thinks the train of thought album was soft...

but i bet if he put g-unit vocals on the same train of thought instrumentals, he'd change his mind and say those beats are hard....

    go figure...

  • @elnegrobembon agree

  • TRAIN OF THOUGHT one of the Greatest Hip Hop Albums EVER hands down!

  • who is this writer?

  • Highly Underrated

  • YouTube "suncitikidd"

  • YouTube "suncitikidd"

  • he meant the old 50.

anddd omg guys just cause ur manestream music dont mean u dont love hiphop?? cmon dnt be soo one sided hiphop heads!

  • oh my God...the blast with live instruments?....why wasn't i there?

  • Talib Kweli is dope! Period!!!!!!!!!

  • him and Mos Def need to get back together and make another black star album. By the way everybody knows why they called themselves Black Star right? Well just in case if you don't they name it Black Star because a black revolution leader and thinker named Marcus Garvey use to have a ship called the Black Star Line. I believe that's what influence them to come up with the name they had.

  • he lost me at "50 and Llyod bank love hiphop"

  • RE IS A CLASSIC!!!!

  • wut is the song at the end

  • 50 cent loves hip hop?

that fucking clown is a disgrace to hip hop

    big up kweli still tho

  • no he isnt hes overrated but if u listen to his MIXTAPES not his club music ya will feel mo this nigga then ever so stop hating

  • @tiddlerz

I was watching an interview with 50 Cent. I don't remember exactly what he said but I think it was along the lines of that his music is definitely entertainment, and he can't really advance his style or anything because his fanbase has come to accept a certain style from him.I don't think he's a disgrace, just a dude out there tryin to get his paper. And as long as people want that un-realness, thats whats gonna sell and be put out

  • @DeftFlow He got enough paper, shut that bitch up already he got more than Jay Z ever earned by now.

  • love language and the blast are beuatiful songs

  • @nemesis700 and "can we go back?" is awesome as well... ♪♫

  • Kweli is on point in this video, critics are dumb as fuck.....fuckin clowns

  • @dopescale because hiphop fans are mostly immature shittalkers tbh

  • This is some shit black people need to learn how not to act like welfare cases.oh and im black so dont say shit...

  • welfare cases?? watt did that have to do wit ANYTHING IN THIS VIDEO!!!

  • haha, but he never mentioned or even hinted anything to do with welfare cases? incase your not sure he was speaking bout music...

  • Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek should make a Reflection Eternal 2.

  • They are.

They already released the first single.

    "Back Again"

  • that would be the best day of my life when it dropped

  • Could somebody tell me what song plays at the end of this vid?

  • "Reflection Eternal" (Talib Kweli/DJ Hi-Tech) is one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever.

  • i 100% agree

  • Word! Reflection Eternal is one of those albums that ever true hip-hop head should keep in rotation.

  • the blast is one of my all time favorite songs!

    especially tha g-unit version!!!

  • Hmm, wow I never knew Hi Tek did those songs, that a strange transition, I'd say. O,o

  • this guy along with Gift of Gab (from soulsides/quannum) ...most under rated rappers ever........

  • Kweli is such a legend

  • without Hi-Tek Talib Kweli is still a good rapper. Hi-Tek is just a genius in how he uses the beat to stimulate the message of Kweli his words..

  • ms hill hostile gospel listen get by move something all are not "soft" anyway who gives a shit if its soft i don't care if talib does soft or hard music hes an amazing artist and his flow and lyrics are mind blowing so that writer should stop bitching and sticking his nose in Talibs music because he obviously hasn't heard him and doesn't realize how revolutionary he is

  • i no hi teks son

  • as far as mc's & lyrics. it's hard to say anyone else is better than. KWELI

  • reflection was amazing.

    that was not soft?

talib goes harder than anyone out of the unit so fuck off.

  • Most underrated lyricist possibly ever

  • MOVE SOMETHING! does that sound soft to u?!

  • hi-tek n kweli keeps it real all day its wud b dope if dey mixed up another reflection eternal material...hi-teknology 2 is another fav

  • what is so wrong with being soft?? who the fuck cares what that writer said. Kweli makes different music than G-unit, and that's what I love about him. That's why you cannot find good music in magazines or on TV you have to find it yourself. I cannot wait until they release a new album, because even though Kweli is amazing, he is nothing without Hi-Tek and reflection eternal was amazing!!

  • The Reflection Eternal album Train Of Thought is one of my favorite albums of all times. The writer who wrote that article obviously either does'nt know what he's talkin' about, or doesn'nt understand good music. Or BOTH. "sleepy album"?

Sounds like he's the one who's sleepy.

  • What is goin' on on 1:35=?

  • he said muthafuggin hardcore music and they edited it with a scratch...

  • @ToddiThaKid censoring.

  • what writer said that about reflection internal thats an albulm about politicks, philiophy, and keeping it real not to forget poetry and banging music. that albulm is in top 5 o f all time who the fuck is g-unit?

  • one of the greatest!

    modest,honest,en respectfull!

    gotta love this guy!

    or gotta love his music!

    ain't nothing in between

  • myspace/vision2008forever

    real hip hop music...

    give it a shot !

  • Yea i remember that article...that was bullshit...c'mon! Move Somthin' was hard as shit!

  • 50 cent as a rapper is owned about ten times over by Kweli. Reflection ETernal is one of the top 5 rap records ever MADE!!

  • Reflection eternal is in my all time favourite albums. Kweli is the truth.

  • reflection eternal was an amazing record

  • Yeah!

  • Kirtlandgeez thinks thinks they are sellouts? Why? because they didnt conform to what everyone else has been doing lately. Most other rappers and producers will come and go like the latest trends in music but I feel guys like Kweli and Hi Tek will be here long after still doing it for the people who can truly appreciate the art and not the trend. I think it's bad when you can look on youtube and see dudes from nyc putting out a little video with southern style beats

  • It's all kiks and snrs and music who care's . that's the proplem to many people talk shit. Train of thought is a classic all the real heads know

  • Train of Thought is a GREAT album

  • Really, why arn't they running around dropping names and making pop tracks for money. Why are they the ones who are sending a message to the community and inspiring us to elavate.

  • man the train of thought...was a 100 star rating...for me.

    that album is a classic.

i wish tek could go to the old days

  • This video is straight. Yall need to check out Vthov's music though if you haven't... He lays down pure fire. Search "Vthov Obama Inauguration Song" and you'll see what I'm talking about. He's the truth.

  • *southside*

  • fuck u sludgewig 50 cent is for real u aint shit

  • i agree : )

  • lets face it he raps about runnin frm police, the only time hes been arrested is frm drink drivin

  • then who writes 50's raps then ?

  • Kweli does have a good point.

  • Kweli is known for not taking criticism too well. But he had a right to be pissed off about that Reflection Eternal comment. It was not peaceful and soft. What about "Move Somethin", "Ghetto After Life", and "Some Kinda Wonderful"? Obviously that writer didn't listen to that whole album.

  • I take a beat and flip in every direction. I mean in every genre of hip hop.

  • thats koo
