  • I absolutely love Jonny Craigs' voice, and I instantly think of him when I hear this particular 'The Colour Morale' song, although I think Garrets' voice is actually better!!!

  • "No one ever makes it out of life alive, but that's no excuse for you to not try"

I hope I'm not the only one who gets chills during this whole song.

  • They need some solos to really kick it up to the next level.. It's heavy, sure, but it needs a bit of finesse and technical prowess. I've noticed a lot of modern bands lack solos and it makes me fear even more for the guitar...

  • this is just fucking boss! love it.

  • The lyrics and purpose of this song definately made it my favorite song off of the album.

  • Bury me in a hole in the sky, not in my mind! <3

  • for nine months same thing come on lets get something new=] the color morale is awesome!!

  • just amazing!! this band shows they can make hard and heavy songs without screaming (This Lost Song is Yours). Brutal songs with it (Quote on Quote) but still melodic and very beautifully quiet songs (Fill; Avoid)

  • 2:13 his voice sounds just like Maynard Keenan from Tool.

  • why did 1 deft guy dislike this? lool

  • @AALBINOO That deaf loser is Justin Bieber!!!!

  • i just came

  • 2:10...OMG i think i've found the real side of me.

  • this song is actually gorgeous!

  • @16sharkbait Yeah, you said that twice.

  • this song is actually gorgeous!

  • I got a tattoo that says "Our life's a road not a destination" from this song :)

  • fuck.... i want my voice to be raspy :( fuck this guy and jonny craig, lucky as hell :(

  • @dillon4L you can do it. just pretend your clearing your throat. then try to sing like that. its kind of hard to describe over text, but it works. i got it down :)

  • Fuck, this is amazing. Why have I just NOW heard this??

  • this song is incredible. Garrett is a monster with his vocals.

  • 3:00 is the best part of the whole song...i could even say its the best part of the album but i know others may have different opinions.

  • @meowdads totally agree. its sick

  • legit. makes me wanna destroy something in slow motion

  • this song made me cry

  • Not only is his voice absolutely amazing, their lyrics are so freaking good as well. One of my favorite singers.

  • How the hell do some of you hear what sounds like Jonny Craig at the beginning??? I personally think he sounds a lot like Stephen Christian at the very beginning if anyone. No matter, this song is friggin amazing.

  • @afireinside54982 totally stephen christian sounding. :)

  • wow this song is amazing!!! great job

  • How about a group like Isles & Glaciers with Garret Rapp, Tyler Carter and Kellin Quinn? :D

  • No song ever made meets this song eye to eye.

  • Rise is my favorite record label. They have some of the best bands in the post hardcore scene.

  • @EvilShake101 it is great but i dont think it cant beat century media even though that most pf their bands are starting to become shitty

  • @9rmetal century media is great to dont get my wrong

  • Holy nuts, this singer is amazing, why is it that such a meaningless asshole like Johnny Craig became so popular in Rise but the band is totally unknown?!

  • @22jermz That's what I'm saying! They have so much talent!!!

  • I absolutely LOVE The Color Morale!

  • christian core?

  • @izrowe10 *Christcore :)

  • D: <- my face is stuck this way after this amazing amazing song.

  • Without a doubt my favorite song on the album. :D

  • the only part he sounds like jonny is "I didn't create the disease, I just diagnosed."

  • why is everybody on jonny craig's cock? i know he's good but its getting ridiculous.

  • this song is amazing. glad to be able to call these guys my friends

  • It's got to be "has the dark been forever crowding"...

  • The lyrics to the first line are "Heavens have been forever crowding"

How is this possible?!?! It is very clear that the word dark is being used. Perhaps somewhere along the lines of "how's the dark been, forever crowding"

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has thought of this, he does not say

"Heavens have been" or so it sounds like at all.

  • @Zadaaahm Yea. I think he says "Has the darkness forever been calling."

It fits more with the verse too.

But yea, "Heavens have been forever crowding" is what I got to when I looked up the Lyrics.

  • How is band not HUGE??? its so amazing.

  • Best song from the album. Nuff said.

  • sounds alot like woe is me

  • xD

  • By far, the BEST song on the album, aside from Demon Teeth. Clean vocals with amazing instrumentals are my jams.

  • I love his voice at 3:00!!

  • this song is fucking amazing. i love when hardcore bands with a GREAT singer have a song totally dedicated to singing.

  • The intro gives a Killswitch engage feeling, just a wee bit

  • @duplexon It definitely is not.

  • i could almost swear that is jonny craig singing at the start:o

  • @duplexon He was working on his mac when TCM was in the studio

  • @duplexon No its not!!

  • @duplexon how can you think thats jonny? closest i've heard to Jonny is lead vocalist of Marisolyterra, and that guy barely scratches the surface.

  • @duplexon not even close that's garret rapp one of the most underrated singers out of rise

  • @duplexon It's not. But in iTunes genius they come up suggested for Dance Gavin Dance. :).

  • @duplexon there aren't enough runs and general douchebaggery for it to be jonny craig lol

  • @duplexon he's better than Jonny Craig :)

  • @duplexon LOL. No.
