its a shame that this game cartrage can only be found in the US here in the UK to get this game it has to be imported from the US witch costs more than the game for example i saw one an it was 2.47 in british money but the delivery was 3.71 more than you pay to get the game but its totaly worth it just yar`s revenge is worth the full price

big differences 'tween 2600 Yars' and this. Colors of the nest change here but 2600 changes more, swirl does not have same speed. But good thing: your cannon energy is shown here (5 to use cannon).

After playing the games I think there's one important problem he doesn't mention in the review: it doesn't save your high score. Yars revenge doesn't tell you your score when you die, so you can't be sure how well you did.

Same problem with asteroids, no score saving, you'd have to keep track of the score yourself.

Great review! You should mention something when you review Asteroids:

GBA cartridges are compatible with all GBAs (of course), original Nintendo DS, and the DS Lite (the one you have), but the new "DSi" does not have a GBA slot. I guess they had to make room for that camera (*cough bulls@#% *cough).

For some this might seem like common sense, but I think it would be a shame for someone to spend all that money and miss out on Yar's Revenge.

I will say this about Yar's Revenge: It got me to buy one of the Jakks game-in-a-joystick collections that you can find in most Wal-Mart/Target/etc. toy departments. The one I bought was the 10 in 1 Atari collection, where the entire system looks like an Atari 2600 controller with a thicker base.
