im not sure about this girl but i know plenty of goths emo that try so hard to dress poor, dirty or like they dont care. the majority of the time these try to look poor kids or these dark visioned, moody depressed kid goes home to his rich house or film youtube videos. really youtube videos are not goth people, they are dark, they are tortured....what that says when the "im not the norm" kid does what is the norm i.e youtube videos is "look at me Im wearing a cool kids uniform so im cool now"

@toolerloot That's all fine and dandy, but goth isn't all about fashion. It's mostly about the music you listen to. It's not about being poor and depressed and hating the world either. Therefore, you can't say someone isn't goth just because they made a youtube video showing their outfit

the endless videos of goths, emo wolves etc posing in the mirror or for the friend holding the camera, striking the perfect goth pose emo pose, its all no different then the cheerleaders and stuck up popular kids. my theory is the goth kid isnt cool enough to be in the pop crowd (i bet 80% of "goths" would ditch there bone wear in a blink of an eye if they had an in into the popular crowd at school. the rest will jump to a new trend when it comes along. goth can be an expression for 95% its not

i just dont understand this. emo goth all the left of norm trends, were supposed to have began do to a cultural common thread between people. it seems now teens threw out any meaning of the group (emo, gothic etc) and thinned it down to just fashion. so its less about i'm my own person and i love the dark side of life and it is now strictly a fashion show of look what i bought at hot topic or look at my new hairstyle. in short the superficial all about what im wearing, my makeup hair and

If you are going to try to speak for an entire subculture made of different people, opinions, etc. it is not a good idea to be rude. Throwing insults around is not going to help you get your point across or give people a good image of the gothic subculture.

If you don't like her videos, don't watch them. You even have the option of blocking her. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean she's a disgrace or that she should get of the internet. Don't be selfish.

Seems kind of weird though, the house you live in, you contrast so much. i can just imagine your dad wearing his "Mr. Rogers" sweater and khakis, smoking a pipe, and your mom in a brightly colored polka dot or flower dress.

@bluBlaq33 Self-harm is not a disorder, it is a choice that displays poor judgment (I mean there could be legitimate medical issues that need addressing)but even at that, the person has the choice to either seek medical help or follow through with their actions.

And I do make fun of anorexia...but not to anyone's face or anything, oh no, that'd be cruel. That'd be like calling a person with elephantiasis, fat. If you are with an anorexic, you should try to get them for their problem, of course.

IT'S A PROBLEM, poor judgement is alcoholism and drug addiction, which require a substance, self sickeningly doesn't require that at all, and people who suffer from anorexia are not anorexic's that sounds rather derogatory, they are people with a disease not a sub-type of person
