the estimated price point is amazing! I'm glad that plate carriers are more affordable without sacrificing quality, durability, and function. few years ago an Eagle CIRAS was one of the few releasable plate carriers available at a hefty price tag of $400+ or even the Paraclete RAVs .

5.11 is such an underrated brand. I love their products and innovation! I use their TDU pants and those things can handle the abuse. This plate carrier looks very promising and if I decide to switch my CIRAS out, I'd definitely pick this up.

@MrMopply a lot of my friends ran Tru-Spec uniforms for a while, until they started tearing, my 5.11 gear outlasted their TDUs and they all run 5.11 uniforms now.

PS. We weren't doing super high speed stuff, we were airsofting lol

@jdizzy01 My 5.11 TDU pants outlasted all of my friends' bdu pants. Only 1 little rip too. I used it for airsoft as well.
