for earthships to really have zero footprint they would have to get rid of electricity as well. the batteries and solar panels and wind modules have a HUGE carbon footprint. all the materials in them require tremendous amounts of oil to extract and process. the equipment used to transport the raw materials and the finished product require tremendous amounts of oil. our use of energy as a culture/society needs to be completely re-examined.

Well said! I agree wholeheartedly. Earthships or anything like it is the solution but be careful of what many of these charlatan elites are trying to do with the whole "global warming" scam. The movie "Garbage Warrior" basically lays out that the main problem is stupid and outdated codes getting in the way of people being able to build these things or better stated being able to implement the REAL solution!

i am absolutely for earthships and am going off the grid myself...but the world government hoax of man-made globalwarming, and the solution: to tax us and control EVERY part of are lives, is the biggest scam in history! I agree in the horrible pollution and toxicity of building materials and all that...but NO to Copenhagen and the other GLOBALIST SCAM ARTISTS!!! ( i love earthships though, i'll be incorporating features in my future expansion!)

Now if e ships get approved by the elitist "club" then yes it would be easy to build one, but that is the problem because then the authorities approve of one structured method, and then they prohibit evolving towards the next method.
