dural is a playable character in this one, i dont understand the other ones but i always knew in this one that i played when i was a child i found it when i was screwing around that if you press left right rapidly in between akira and jacky you end up with dural.

this game is nice on saturn to rip the muci from it the rest is pretty unstable on the saturn it wasnt near anything good to see on a pretty powerfull sega saturn.

i have vf5 for ps3, this game is great. i have forghotten how bad the graphiocs were back then but it is all about the gameplay i guess. you were so close. commiserations!
