Wwwarevoltcom - my bad for taking so long, it looked to me like Kenji was using poster board by the size. By no means did I think it would be n e where near easy, but this hard either. I am using card stock. When I said dull as a ball point pen I really meant it. I could put about 5 lbs of pressure on the blade and run my finger across it, not a scratch. I decided to use those carpenter xacto blades.
@wwwarevoltcom - I'm trying out this stencil thing. Thought to be half way good just need zen. Well my zen has failed. Question is, what do u recommend to cut with? Tried stencil blades (xacto brand) those turn out to be more dull than a ball point pen. Reg blades also seem to be a bit to dull. Through doing this I have even more mad respect for Kenji.
@WarpaintGolffive My first question is what material are you cutting? Kenji Nakayama prints all of his images on regular paper so a regular xacto blade cuts just fine. This is also how he can cut such intricate images. It doesn't mean it is easy, but it helps for sure. Also, make sure you get a self-healing cutting mat to keep under your paper. This will save the blades from dulling every 5 seconds. best of luck!
damn kenji why are you so talented hehehehe miss you1 when i get back to NYC , ill show you how i got better at graffity and photography :D hope ur doing good xD
