  • CWIST IS

  • @josuepineda78 The programs used were: Syntheyes for the motion tracking, After Effects for the 2d effects, Blender for the 3d stuff and Premiere for the editing.

  • May somebody tell me the song if you know? Thank you.

  • @DeltaChip You could get them from 1031sermonjams. com slash vol4 dot html

  • @Creationcreed Thank you very much

  • @woobstoob can't a savior be a friend? doesn't Jesus call the disciples his friends? cannot friends also "discipline" us by giving us advice and showing us our blind spots. doesn't it say in proverbs how a good friend will be honest with us and show us even our faults?

  • which program did you use to produce this video? Premiere? Final Cut?

  • @danritter96 I want to know this too. Praying for an answer. It is some kind of motion tracking. I guess it might be PFTrack and perhapds After Effects, but I sure would like an expert to confirm how the floating 3-D text was done.

  • Could somebody please tell me what kind of software do I need to make one of this Sermon Jams?

    Please.

  • @josuepineda78 have you got an answer on this yet? I'd like to know too.

  • @nappychef35 No answer.

  • @josuepineda78 You need to use an advanced program such as premiere and after effects. along with good camera work and stong words.

  • annnnnnnnooying music

  • I wonder about the friend status sometimes?? I would like that for sure, but I really don't need a friend. I need a savior. A father who will discipline His son is much more effective than a friend. Discipline helps us grow for our own good. A friend has the tendency to encourage us whether we need it or not.

  • Its clear, i say: good work! Thumps up.

Nothing is so important as our Creator!

  • Awesome video :) Godbless you!

  • great and absolutely true message!

  • i love this haha god its amazing! i wanna count EVERYTHING as los compared to god

  • If you really stop and think about what this is saying... wow. This is huge. What He wants is huge. But what He gives is even greater.

  • This is a great video!

  • this is great..i loved it. it hit me...

    big time!!

  • Dont waste ur Life book its nice...

  • @twoper3 theres a book??!!! can u tell me some info about it

  • Cscox 789. You may have grown up in a Christian home but you have missed the point. In fact the last time you heard a Bible story it was probably illustrated with a flanel graph. To tell people the message about God we need to use what gets the message out most effectively! If only all the Christian videos on YouTube where this high quality then we wouldn't be such a laughing stock. This vid is ace!!

  • From what I've seen, people who grow up in good homes are at a disadvantage.

Many clean-cut, middle class, well-mannered kids base their Spirituality on their upbringing more than a desperate need for God, and a real relationship with Him.

Their clothes, their jobs, their house, their friends, their Church attendance is often something they do because they've always done it and can't think of any other way.

But to me, they are like the Pharisees, who look good in Church, but bad outside it.

  • That may describe many, but be careful not to "lump" together every affluent Christian. By doing that you are essentially condemning them to that fate.

Instead of pointing a finger, lets lend a hand.

  • @buddyru

Notice I used the word "many".

"MANY clean-cut, middle class, well-mannered kids base their Spirituality on their upbringing more than a desperate need for God, and a real relationship with Him."

I'm not condemning anyone. Merely pointing out that I've seen many people who look good on the outside, who are respected member of the Church, but they don't show the love that Christ commands of us; to love God, to love our neighbor, and to love our enemies.

    I struggle with this myself.

  • As for helping, I usually help outside the Church. I tried to enter three different Ministries, and every time, my Church told me that they don't need me. They don't need anything from me but my money.

  • good. :)

    So do most of us.

  • Beautiful preaching!! Love John piper!

What kind of program did u use to edit this?

  • Opened my eyes. Now I see what it means to make Jesus my true treasure. Those things are only given, so that they would glorify God!

  • well being raised christian doesnt mean anything... alot of people are raised in so call christian homes but go off and live their lives as though God doesnt exist.... but if God is OVER something... which he is over everything, He can use what he wants to use to spread the Gospel.. Rap music for example.. the world knows rap as violent, and pornographic... but ive recently heard christian rappers who speak the truth boldly.. so thats how pimp God is.. He uses what he wants to use.. its HIS

  • God is Holy, not pimp. He's not our homeboy either, He is Holy.

  • @bigdogboos - amen!!

  • @bigdogboos Amen, to say Christ is our homeboy is as though Christ needed something from us when hes infinitely precious and infinitely glorious and the word homeboy as street slang will probably perish in his dust. He is pure, and holy and not given to images like we are.

  • @eyeztothesky Is Christ not called friend? Is it unholy to call him friend in a different context? He is more than a friend, but don't fall into the trap that He's not your friend bro.

  • @bigdogboos i dont get what hell that has to do with message

  • @bigdogboos TRUE God IS HOLY. And when people say "God is my homeboy" I think that they mean that they LOVE Him AS MUCH AS they love their homeboys. I think that people say that because it's another way of saying that God IS YOUR FRIEND. Though God is HOLY He is NOT DISTANT. IT IS BECAUSE OF HIS HOLINESS that He HAD to come to MAKE US HOLY SO THAT WE could ENJOY a WONDERFUL CLOSE RELATIONSHIP with Him.

  • @bigdogboos Amen! Lecrae is my homeboy, Jesus is my Savior!

  • I wish this comment could be deleted.

  • Your wish has been granted.

  • Not yours the one using "pimp" to describe God

  • Hey, while you're at it, ya might as well delete this one too...

  • wot are you talking about ?

  • cscox789, Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Also, Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. For, your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Remember, The body is not made up of one part but of many. Do not limit the way God can work.

  • He wasn't saying that we shouldn't own computers, he was making the point that if we do have computers, it is because they are given to us by God. As such, we must use what God has given us in a way that glorifies Him, not us (like this video), as to whom much is given, much is required.

  • @accuratedan Piper's got a computer.

  • Great Vidoe DGdwyl. This is the true meaning of Christianity (Relationship of such VALUE). Love how you put your slideshow with the message and music. Good timing and fantastic Job

  • Amen!

  • Amen!

  • JESUS above everything. Above family, friends, food, success, job, looks, MONEY!

IF hes not that treasure for you: PRAY! ALL NIGHT IF U HAVE TO!

    Awsome preacher

    Awsome video.

    Thanks for this man.

    You got THE point!

  • !Too a needy man Emmanuel is all i need !

  • This vid is the bomb! Do you REALLy get this? I must ask myself the same thing every day. Let's treasure Jesus above all things together!

  • r u kidding me...this is john piper! Present the real Christ... If anybody in the world is doing that it's john piper! This is a blurb... only a segment of the full sermon.. GO LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING BEFORE YOU OPEN UP YOUR MOUTH...his passion for the GOD of this world is second to none. Every word he says takes his full energy... so that you might know the true GOD... MY GOd

  • All of the above mentioned false religions give lip service to the Jesus of the bible as a "Christ" for the Piscean (Church) age...and another is coming soon to complete the work ...so look out for the Coming One - a false Christ and the anti-Christ

  • So why don't you present it better,? make a video and do it better, since you say you know how to do it.. Lets see your speech in action.

  • I see the need for presenting a much more specific message and its eternal truth - this presentation uses a generic "Christ" which can fit any number of belief systems...the Hindu Christ, Krishna; the 5th Buddha savior, Maitreya; a New Age (false) Christ of Western transcendentalism (and secret societies such as Rosicrucians and Masons); and the Imam Mahdi of Islam (the Muslims false Christ their savior idea). We know its referring to the biblical Jesus Christ but

    many seek another Christ

  • The LORD Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, the Word of life and "God manifest in the flesh" (1 Timothy 3:16) leaves no room for confusion. This video uses a superficial style (yet emotional). It is "marketing" of an incomplete and broad gospel, nstead of presenting the specific biblical and glorious Gospel; and with a humble and contrite heart of fear and trembling as Paul did. His preaching showed the presence of the Holy Spirit filling Him as the presenter with true power from on high...next

  • Great basic message to us who know the real truth which is partially embedded in the video but not specific enough - and bad packaging - sensual street beat and profane fleshly style of presentation that emulates the world - this does no real justice to the true glory of the things of God which are spiritual biblical truth about the one true Most High and Almighty God, the LORD, JEHOVAH and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the eternal "God manifest in the flesh" 1 Tim. 3:16 (KJB). More soon

  • Godliness with contentment is great gain.

  • simply amazing this encouraged me I hope many more are encouraged but challanged by this vid.

  • I hope that GOD prospers you all in all

    You encouraged me brethren

  • By seeking Christ (making Him our treasure) everything else will fall into place. We are supposed to love and cherish our family. It isn't that we aren't supposed to "treasure" our family, but that we ought to treasure Christ more. It is not contradictory, just a matter of priority. Our main goal as a believer in Christ is to treasure and seek Him, and by doing so we are to obey what the Bible says about love and taking care of family. This is how to live a meaningful life on earth.

  • this is awesome! very very creative! may i ask what did you use to make this video?

  • It looks like they might have use Adobe After Effects. Not sure though

  • "Seth the Intern" here,

Software used was After Effects CS4 for the composting and all the 2.5-D effects, Andersson Technologies' SynthEyes 08 for match-moving, and Blender for the volumetric 3D words. ("Friends, Family, Computers, Toys," etc.)

  • thank you sir, I appreciate it. Where do you intern at?

  • Desiring God, Resource Strategies.

  • Soo tight a video! Inspiring and challenging.

  • (very nicely done.) i understand how to use money & food in such a way that shows THEY are "not our treasure" ... but my question is: how exactly does one go about demonstrating that FAMILY is NOT our treasure?? thoughts, anyone?

  • i replied above

  • 2:27 "display"...genius!

  • inspiring !!

  • Awesome! Thanks for the great video!

  • Jaw Droppingly Marvelous. Other than that I am speechless

  • Awesome video!!

  • Wow - That was incredibly well done!

  • excellent.

  • Amazing! I treasure Christ more than sermon jams. I love this sermon jams because in it, it promotes Christ more than even itself.

  • Amen! Praise God! May that be so in my life!

  • Great message, great video!
