there are hard drives which supports firewire where you can transfer stuffs at 800mb/sec. blazing fast. and things like digital tv tuner might be useful.

The iMac seem to take a long time to boot. Try going into system preferences > startup disk and selecting the internal hard drive.

Yes there is a fire wire port. I just doesn't look like the 400 port. It's inbetween the mini display port and the usb ports.

most video recorders use firewire. I havent seen a firewire 800 ever since the macbook pro and this iMac.

Hey there! Yes, I know that it is called a Magic Mouse. I screwed it up once or twice, but feh. I thought that I had corrected myself.
As for the Firewire port, I pointed out that while there was a firewire port, it was firewire 800. And NOTHING uses that. NOTHING.
