  • This is brilliant! Next demo im goin!

  • i was there and I can honestly say it wont take to many of these 'flash demos' to make progress. All you bikers out there stand up and be counted...you're all invited to the Councillors Grand £23,000 dinner! they'd love to see y'all.

  • Great guys, no to the parking tax.

I am away in Brazil, I will be back in April to protest again.

    marcos

  • This was a great demonstration and there is plenty more where that came from. Westminster City Council knows how to stop this... make motorbike and scooter parking free again!

These kind of demo's will keep happening in London until the bike parking charge is scrapped.

See you at the next one on 9 MARCH 2010.

    NO TO MOTORCYCLE PARKING FEES!

  • Good job! Wish I could have joined you from the other side of the pond.

Gridlock that city tighter than fat ladies bikini.

  • I can't believe how well organised this is. Fantastic stuff everyone. Really really got to nail these b'stards once and for all.

By the way, in view of the all the pot holes that have appeared since winter, has anyone worked out how much each council gets towards road repairs? Judging by what I've seen on my daily travels they don't get much... oh wait...

  • Fantastic! Brilliant!

    Roll on March 9th

  • 3:15 thats me and i shall be there and the next one! nice turn out and response.

    Your time is up Westminster!

  • Well done all! I'll be at the next one!

  • Was there a little freudian slip at 08:34? "Every C**ts council in this country...." lol

  • The demos stop when the parking tax is scrapped. Simples.

    Next demo: 9 March,

outside 'The Northumberland' on Northumberland Avenue (off Trafalgar Sq). 6pm.

Already boycotted by Westminster's Labour group, conservative councillors are holding a £23,000 piss-up.

    Q. Who's paying ?

    A. The council tax payers of Westminster.

We'll be there, as will representatives of UNISON whose members are facing job losses as a result of WCC's ineptitude.

Brings eggs, bring flour, bring your rage.
