We went to Blanes every year, except this one.

I love Blanes and it really hurt me to see what happened.

Obviously Blanes has recovered, but I have not seen it with my own eyes. We will visit it in the next months.

I work in Camping La Masia (Blanes) and live in Blanes and what the government did is stupid. They've just did what they did before and making the same error all over again.

They just took sand from the see and moved it to the beach, which resulted to be washed away after a few weeks when there was another storm. There's little beach left once again and they've wasted a huge amount of money on this..

What they SHOULD have done instead is place dikes about 3-5 kilometers down in the sea so the currents and storms couldn't take all that sand away again.

The true error was made years ago when they made the boulevard and pused the beach down towards the sea... the sea is merely taking back what was stolen from it...
