AHem i think colin & justin checked out this video and made a comment about your curtains. any way good job and the curtains are cool they reminded me of when i was in amsterdam and i visited the van gogh museum...stoned
Get yourself a couple of good new midi keyboards (cakewalk or m-audio) & then buy secondhand modules like jv1080, korg ms2000br (or for dx7 sounds a dx200) - 1000 euros well spent!!!
i want to do this song with my keyboard, but i don't know which keys to press and i need the other sound effects like the beats aswell and is there anyway you could do an overhead view and to slow it down a bit so i can try to copy it? with thanks
@DX5 : Hi, I'm a metal guitarist since 17 years, and i want to re-play keyboards(I played when I was a little child in the early 80's. I'm interesting of Visage, Indochine, Limalh, P.Lion...Can you tell me which keyboards to choose to re-begin. I can pay 1000 euros (but not bigger) for one or two keyboards. Somebody told me about DX7, Polysix D10, JX8P, but I am lost in this labyrinth of models. I want mysterious, nighty and dark sounds. Could you help me, please? Sorry for my bad english!
@besacvincent25 Hello: I could suggest the JX8P for 80's roland sound. The DX7 sounds too dark sometimes, but it can do a good job (Check Jan Hammer's Miami Vice OST). D10 contains some rom sound that can be useful either.
@DX5 : Thanks for you answer!!! Continue your great job on your vids. Fade to grey, sounds like a melody, enjoy the silence and blue monday are your best covers, i think. carry on ;) ;)
Wow. DX5. If I was anywhere near you, I would give you a high-five. As always, outstanding work, my friend. Thanks for sharing with us this classic groove. Have you done any Human League stuff before? Just wondering.
Hello DX5, your interpretations are really something! I see you use the Emax a lot and I have a question for you: do you sample your own sounds or do you use library sounds? Look, I have an Emax rack and when I sample in order to have a sound across several octaves the quality of the sound is not the same, the closer to the original sample equals the better quality, the farther the poorer. So, what would be your advice to have a decent quality ofthe sound across several octaves? thanks

Great job. Nice use of panning too. Did you play two different sounds using your top synth?
mishmoshable 3 months ago
@mishmoshable Yes. That top synth is not a synth in itself but a Sampler. So I put the sounds I want into different keyboard sections.
