I just got Battlefield 3 yesterday and I'm very confused. After switching from something like Call of Duty to something like Battlefield the controls are just plain confusing. Plus, whenever I join a game on caspian border, how come there are not jets or tanks and only us fighting each other on a very limited map? Do I need a different game mode then Team Deathmatch? Someone please help me!

@Robodav64 Team Deathmatch in Battlefield 3 doesn't have any vehicles and you're limited to only a part of the map. This game mode is very much like Call of Duty: close quarters, random spawns. The other game modes are totally different. In Rush and Conquest you get tanks, jets and other vehicles.

Why compare Battlefield to COD claiming that it is more realistic, It is, but cod isnt trying to be as realistic as battlefield. The dev's of COD even said that they were thinking about tanks and jets in MW3, but they would have to expand the maps and that would remove the famous close quarters gameplay that COD is loved for. I like them both, because they both have pro's and con's and just because your mum doesn't buy you a game kids, doesn't mean its shit and that yours is better!

@KingsHeartX3 People don't know about solider mode- Go into find servers and in filter select solider. It turns on friendly fire, reduced HUD (might be none), less health and no third person vehicle view. All the servers are unpopulated though.
