NO, please enlighten us... because no one in the 30+ year history of sample-based composition has EVER stopped to consider the music they are drawing from. No one has ANY IDEA that all he is doing is re-arranging samples... we all thought that the MPC somehow MAGICALLY CREATED those sounds when put under his Jedi hands.
hiphop is based on sampling,if your really good at music you always sample cause certain sounds you cant get nowdays,plus sampling is something diffrent then looping!sampling means make your own customized sounds,digg that shit

ur prolly that same dumbass dude makin beats wit a 1000 instruments in it cuz it sounds good in the headphones but when someones rappin they cant vibe to 1000 instruments it needs to be basic and raw

tha 1000's are trash u need a 2000xl mcd for memory or a 2500...4000's are overrated too...but u killed it but you are limiting yourself with the 1k...
