Am I the only one learning great grammar points from these videos? Mezurashii, never heard it before now! Thanks sir your sheer volume of production is just GREAT, and the quality is superb too! You've a great sense for what makes interesting media!
I've had two orphaned squirrels, but because they were male and female, as they matured they became mean. Now, my Uncle had a single male squirrel that lived in his screened porch. He would let the squirrel out to play, just like a dog, and when it was time to come-in he would call the squirrel, "ROCKY!", and he would come, running up his body and would proceed to perch on his shoulder. Eventually, ALL squirrels were released.
I have two dogs. both dogs are dachshund. one is black, and the other is brown. I have seen unusual pets, which are raccoon and wallaby at my city before.
Arrest me, i may be guilty, but at least i'm honest: The girl at 4:20 is what i would call SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMMMMMMOOOOO-KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN

@TheJapanChannelDcom I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you. I was asking a simple question. I am a fan of your videos and I have seen them all, I love them. I just have a difficult time understanding what is being said in the interviews when they speak very quiet or too fast. I wasn't trying to be hateful or put you down I just want to know what they have to say. That's why I watch them!
Would you consider putting subtitles up for the interviews? They are so awesome, but can be frustrating because I don't understand what was said. I can sometimes figure it out if I repeat the segment several times, but I don't always have the patience or time to do so.
are there not any bunnies in japan? they are small like cats so i would have thought a lot of people had them and i think they are cuter then cats lol
The 'older' woman spoke english almost at ease!! She's great!!! But I'm wondering if Japanese people are interested to learn Dutch, French or German?? I could help them with that! ( and as my memory is willing to serve me...I don't recall seeing that on one of your playlists)
@gyqz there was a interview video about which country they would most like to visit and none of them said the states most where places that didnt speak english so they probley do :^D

Where do you live? I got to Japan maybe three weeks ago. I'm going to be here for a year, but I wonder about your location. I am in Mishima, in Shizuoka prefecture.
When I was in Japan the cats had no tails. I was told that in Japan they cut the tails off to keep the cats from climbing, since they need the tail as a counter balance. I thought I saw somewhere that there's an actual breed of Japanese "Bob-tailed" cats. So, which is it? Are the tailed surgically removed or is there an actual Japanese breed of cats that naturally have no tails?
@PGIFilms - The Japanese Bobtail is an actual breed similar to the Manx, they don't go around cutting off kittens tails to stop them from climbing trees, I think someone has been having you on.. =/
Yep their is a breed of Japanese "bob-tailed Cats" and unlike the "Manx races" of cats, they are almost always, sweet tempered felines.. As a matter of fact the (Hello Kitty) series and those lil Cat statues ya see with their paws raised, are all based off of them, their considered too be good luck in the orient..LoL
Don't know about the tail clipping bit though, but I did Own a manx in my teens, and that FoUL Tempered cat climbed with the best of them no problem what so ever.. LoL!
@Ruhnezmei89 All Japanese people learn English in school. But not that intence and they forget it easily when school is over. I'm guessing these people are doing more english class though.
uuuuuummmm NOT a good idea to have a monkey as a pet! Just sayin! There was a lady here in America that had one and, because it is a wild animal, the monkey went crazy one day and attacked the lady and her friend. It ripped the skin right off her friend's face! No joke! Go look it up! So yea I know probably no one is plannin on goin out to buy a monkey but... just sayin is all.
@CammyWhite499 Actually it was a chimp, but either way point is Monkey(Or any wild animal)+pet=no! I know it's dumb to be saying this here it's just a warning I guess...
To make a vid about pets in Japan was a really great idea ^_^ Yet I thought that there'll be more "unusual" answers, as I've always imagined that apart from dogs and cats some animals indigenous to Japan would be mentioned :) I liked when this old lady answered "eel" and I liked this last guy ^_^ I agree that he seems friendly and I like hamsters too ^_^

Pet monkey? Never heard of that in Belgium. I'm pretty sure it's even illegal to own a pet monkey here. Can you have any kind of pet you'd like in Japan or are there restrictions aswell?
