national debt of the COUNTRY (not government thats bollocks) is created when the government spends more than theyve got. sometimes they spend less. then they reduce the national debt. it changes from year to year. if you did any research you would see that 99% of the budget goes to providing public services like schools, transport and health.

A vegan diet adopted on a mass scale would have a huge affect on food availability. Lots of arable land that would produce high yields of grains for human consumption is used for grain for animal feed. Land used to graze animals would be more efficiently used for food crops. Animal farming needs huge water use , produces much less nutritional value (per hectare) and the loss of trees to grazing land is an environmental disaster, creating soil erosion. Arable land lost - people starve.
